Morphy Richards 979003 42-50L Lemon Scented Heavy Duty Drawstring Bin Liners, 20 Pack, White

Bin liners are not something most people think about until they're dealing with ones that don't fit properly, sliding down inside the bin, bunching at the bottom or splitting under any real weight. Picked these up specifically for a Morphy Richards bin after getting frustrated with generic liners that were nominally the right size but never quite sat right in practice. The custom fit is the whole point and it genuinely works. The liner sits flush against the inside of the bin without excess material gathering at the sides or the top edge collapsing inward. It stays in place during use without needing to be readjusted every time something is dropped in, which sounds minor until you've spent time tucking a sliding liner back over the rim on a daily basis. The strength is reassuring for a kitchen bin liner. No splitting on normal household waste including food scraps, packaging and the kind of awkward sharp edged items that catch cheaper liners. Carried full bags without any give or tearing at the seam, which is the basic requirement and one that budget alternatives don't always meet consistently. The lemon scent is subtle rather than overpowering. It takes the edge off kitchen waste odours without the artificial chemical freshness that some scented liners overdo. After a day or two it fades to almost nothing which is about right, present when the bin is opened without filling the kitchen. The pack count makes the cost per liner reasonable, particularly given how reliably they perform compared to generic alternatives. A straightforward product that gets every detail right and removes a small but persistent household frustration entirely. These won't leak, easy to remove and just thick enough.

Really great binliners. I have tried both the 50 and 60 L and they both fit great. I will definitely be sticking with this brand. They have a slight lemon scent which is lovely when you open the bin up. Really great customer service from them as well nice to support a small business.

It feels like a quality bin bag in a very practical packaging, however it is not scented and it barely fits on my square bin. I don't have a high quality bin and it seems like the size of this bag is not compatible 100%. Even if the bag litre matches I need to squeeze the edges of the plastic bin in to put the edges of the bag on it.

This is the second time I've bought these for my morphy Richard's bin. The first buy seemed to be great, perfect fit and no breaking. My most recent purchase not so good, the bag doesn't even fit around my bin and I have to tear the liner slightly for it to actually fit and they are a lot thinner than before so now have to double them which is really not cost effective. I'm going to complain direct to morphy Richard's about this as not happy.

I've been battling with cheap supermarket bags for years, taping them to the side so they stay in place. I bought these and the difference is amazing. They smell nice (to start) and fit my generic cylindrical bin (from Dunelm I think) absolutely perfectly. The top fits exactly around the rim (just a quick tug to tighten it) and the perfectly shaped bag makes maximum use of the bin's volume also. (Top Tip - a sturdy paper plate at the bottom of the bag helps it keep its shape and prevent any leakage from tea bags etc). Nice and strong too so no sweating when you pull a full bag out. Note they come folded in a pile in a bag, not on a roll like others which isn't so convenient but it's not a big deal and otherwise I'm really pleased with these. Quite dear but worth it IMHO.

The "free" bin bags I received with my Morphy Richard's bin were very good and i was impressed with them. I wasn't very impressed with the follow up cost of purchasing these bin liners but i thought the quality was good, they fit the bin perfectly and the smell is good. First Purchase : Every bag i have used from this purchase split when i pulled the bag out of the bin (about 2 inches below the draw string). At first i thought the bag must be too full, but actually, the slightest vacuum from the bin when you pull the bag out causes the seem to split - so not impressed at all. Second Purchase : Bought another set of bags hoping that the first purchase was a manufacturing fault. This set totally doesn't even fit the bin! You have to split the top to get the bag to roll over the lip! I returned these and opted to try another batch, New Batch : Just returned these back to Amazon today. Exactly the same problem!
