Worked for 3 days, then dimmed to half brightness, still working but dimmer,

Perfect replacement
The original 4.5v adapter for our John Lewis pre-lit tree died last Christmas and JL were unable to replace it. After doing a bit of research this was the closest in spec I could find, but I had doubts that it was compatible. I've been using it now for two weeks and it does the job perfectly.

Great product. Works well.
Xmas lights were originally connected to a battery pack, but the batteries had leaked and ruined it. Used this 3 pin plug that has a 2 pin connector with a 2 pin extension lead so the lights could be plugged into the mains instead of the battery pack. Works very well.

Good value
Previous one failed and getting this was a lot cheaper than having to buy a new Christmas tree! Just make sure the power specification matches your old one.
