Built To Last, Real Quiet, Lot of hot air pumping out!
I got a-ROG Strix Hyperion case-ROG Strix 4070Ti OC Edition-Ryzen 5 5600X (with a Artic Dual Fan eSport 48 DUO on it for cooling)-B550F Wi-Fi Gaming II motherboard-64GB of 3200MT/s Kingston RAM-HerculeX RGB gpu holderand well i'm nowhere near that 1000W yet i'm getting a Ryzen 9 9950X a X870E Hero board and 64GB of Z5 Trident RAM at 6000MT/s from G.Skill at the end of this yeari've done the math and I still wont be anywhere close i'll prob have to upgrade in 2yrs when I get an astral 5090 OCed or 6090 equivelent but yeah it's prob been like 3 or 4 years never had an issue it runs quiet theres a little warm air that comes out the back vent when gaming on intensive games like First Descendant, Star Citizen, Fortnite or Valheim, Enshrouded but that's expected!fact is i've not used it's full potential but once I get that gpu i'll probably be skipping past that 1000W so i'll need to get a thor platinum or somethingin the meantime I think this thing could easily go another 5-6yrs without issue it's just the quality they're built with since seasonic makes em for asus!

Alright, so I just got my hands on the Asus ROG LOKI SFX-L Platinum 1000W PSU, and let me tell you, I'm pretty stoked about it.First off, installation was a breeze. The instructions were super clear, and the fully modular design made cable management an absolute dream. My build looks incredibly neat now, and the airflow is much better because of it.Performance-wise, this thing is a champ. It's been running flawlessly for me, and it's surprisingly quiet. I love the OLED display – it's actually really handy for keeping an eye on my system's power consumption. Plus, it just looks cool.It comes with all the modern cables you could need, including a full 600W GPU connector, which is awesome for newer graphics cards. Overall, if you're building a small form factor PC and need a powerful, efficient, and good-looking PSU, I'd highly recommend this one. It's a solid choice!

Excellent well-built PSU
I was looking for a new PSU to power a new computer I'm building in a smallish (micro-atx sized) case. When spending a lot on PC components, the last thing you want to do is cheap out on the power supply and fry everything 18 months down the line. My first stop was therefore the famous 'PSU Tier List' to find one which was both top rated and also SFX or SFX-L. This seemed to tick the boxes, albeit that it's a little overpowered for my needs. However, give it's 'Platinum' rated, it should be efficient for the majority of its output (and at low outputs, the efficiency matters less). The PSU is solid and seem well built, though I realise heavyness isn't really a measure of quality. It looks nice in black, with metal accents here and there. It's fully modular, though I think being SFX-L, it has slightly fewer connectors than you might get on a full size ATX one. Each cable is individually sleeved which should help with the mess of wiring in a small case.In use the PSU is quiet. At low loads the fan turns off and, given that 1000W is a lot, it stays off a fair bit of the time. When under higher load, the fan is still quiet, and it more of a swooshing noise than annoyingly high pitched. I didn't notice any coil whine from it, but I haven't got really close to it.The only thing I haven't connected up is the RGB on it. I'm sure it looks nice if you're showing off the insides of your case, but for me it wasn't neccessary.Overall very happy with it as a PSU. It's obviously not the cheapest there is, and this might be a consideration for budget builds, but if you can find it at a good price point then there is little to complain about with this PSU.

ASUS TUF 850W-G: A solid PSU ideal for futureproofing with brand-new 12VHPWR, 12-pin, cable
I recently picked up the ASUS TUF 850W Gold-rated PSU for close to 90 quid and it has exceeded my expectations. This powerhouse delivers rock-solid stability with 80+ Gold efficiency, ensuring clean and reliable power for high-performance builds; even those with demanding GPUs. The fully modular design makes cable management a breeze, keeping the build neat and airflow unobstructed. Plus, the silent yet efficient cooling keeps temperatures in check, even under heavy loads.==PROS:+ 80+ Gold efficiency – Features solid protection against power fluctuations.+ Fully modular – Easy cable management and clean builds+ ATX 3.1 Compatible – Relatively standardised form factor allowing for ATX 3.0 and 3.1 compatibility+ 850W power – Plenty of headroom for upgrades+ High-quality components – Reliable and durable+ Quiet operation – Effective cooling with minimal noiseCONS:- Cables could be slightly more flexible- No RGB (if that matters to you)- 850W of Power does mean CPU, MOBO (in the form of MOSFET), and GPU can run hot. Would need adequate cooling or adjusting fan settings to ensure (e.g., MOS temps) are regulated.- Comes with both the traditional 16-pin PCI-E and the new 12VHPWR (12V-6X2) connector, though the naming could be clearer for newer builders as the new connector is labelled as the 16-pin PCI-E.==Overall, at this price point, it's a no-brainer for futureproofing. 850W provides plenty of headroom for upgrades, making it a smart investment for both current-gen and next-gen hardware. If you want a dependable, well-built PSU that won’t let you down, this one is an easy recommendation, especially for something as vital for your PC as the PSU.~Shaker
