Now the proud owner of 5 different Fit Ville Shoes/trainers and I love them. They not only look good they’re durable and most importantly are really comfortable. I’ve bought them on Amazon and also directly from Fit Ville. Both off great delivery.

These shoes are described as extra wide with a good non slip sole and being waterproof. They really are extra wide - I struggle to buy shoes at size 13 and wide enough and these really fit the bill. The sole is not especially "non slip" - don’t expect to have extra grip across wet or mossy stones but they are fine for narrow, rough forest tracks. Sadly, my pair are definitely not waterproof but wearing them with waterproof socks manages that. Overall, especially at their price point, they are very well sized and comfortable for forest and hill paths and they’re showing as very durable with no signs of scuffing or early wear. I’ll buy them again and recommend them for big, active, feet…..

I have a problem walking, feet give way.But I have now purchased two pairs of these trainers/boots, absolutely brilliant, very comfortable, walking now not a problem.Very light weight, I got a ½ size larger than needed - nice broad fitting gives room for my feet to breathe and expand.Absolutely the best value for money I've had for years.Far better than my costly orthopaedic shoes.

First of all, I have to say that these are the most comfortable hiking shoes I have ever bought. I recently purchased a second pair to keep at the gym.They fit perfectly, are exceptionally comfortable, offer good protection, and initially are waterproof. However, having used these four or five times a week since I bought them, after three months I noticed that my feet were getting wet. It was my wife who examined them, and saw that the front on both shoes has just fallen apart. See the images.Make no mistake, these are really comfortable shoes. Had I reviewed them a month or so ago they would have got five stars without any problem. However, I do feel bound to point out that if you use them regularly, as I do, they do not seem to be built to last. I’ve started to wear the second pair now, and I will come back and review these if I have the same problem.If I have been unlucky with just this pair, I hope the manufacturers will review my comments, and I will be happy to send them back for examination.

After only 2 weeks hiking, the toe cap of the sole has started to peel away from the upper part of the shoe. While not fatal (and probably able to be glued back) it does not inspire confidence in the materials or build quality of these shoes. They are comfortable etc for wide feet but I'm not expecting them to last very long.

I wear these all the time, and am now on my second pair purchased from Amazon, having worn the first pair out!The sole is chunky and lasts a decent lenght of time. I need wide fit shoes to walk in and these do exactly as advertised.They are comfortable as delivered, but with a set of additional insoles they are like wearing slippers.

I read some mixed reviews on size, but my 12w were perfect. The comfort is great. I have given them some tough use for 3+ months and still look good.

My husband has had a very hard time finding shoes with a wide enough -- and high enough -- toe bed. He's finally found a pair of comfortable shoes and enjoys his morning walks. Highly recommend these shoes.

These are super comfy if you have wide feet and high arches like me, but these are not hiking worthy at all. The traction is horrible on any surface. If your a serious hiker or serious about not falling PERIOD then look elsewhere.
