I would compare these to sharkbite... for half the cost...

First time working with push valves but installation was easy and leak free.

Pipe fit great. Can't tell the difference in quality from these to shark bite fittings.

I used these ball valves to plumb in a sediment filter. I have never used push-to-connect pipe fittings before. I was a little leery of them in general. However, it was very easy to use. You just mark your pipe at the proper distance from the ends so you know how far you've inserted the pipe. That's it. There have been no drips from these fittings in over a month. The valve handles feels very solid with enough resistance that you know they wouldn't be accidentally opened or closed. I've had to shut and open the valves several times to clean the filter and I still have full confidence in them.

When you need to make some changes in your plumbing, it really helps to have a shutoff valve installed. I really like the push type fittings as I can change things up later on, or they work great in tight spaces where I can't use my standard ring clamp crimper.The prices are about the same or a little cheaper than what you will find in the big box stores, and you will have them delivered to your house! Thus saving you time and energy from having to travel and pick things up yourself.

Purchased two of these ball valves today. Everything seems OK but Disconnect clip is missing. Would be nice if you guys send me one.
