This is an absolute must for any NEW or OLD Kingdom Hearts fan, the manga is incredible and if you've played the game you'll be presently surprised by the slight changes ..

The volume covers the ending of Kingdom Hearts 2 and does a good job of it. Most of the scenes are word for word taken from the game, but still keeps things fun with its great arts style

So the Kingdom Hearts series is far and away one of my favourites (right up there alongside Pokemon) - what makes the manga stand out is, in my opinion, the wonderful art. The art is beautiful but also nicely uncluttered and the action scenes are fantastic.This next bit is going to be very subjective. Before going back to KHII on my new edition for the PS4, it seems to me that there is some additional attention paid to relationships between the trio of Sora, Riku, and Kairi - you can see it in the art, where they are all featured together FAR more often than in the game’s art, and a bit of (I THINK - again, I need to go back) embellishment on scenes between them - in particular Riku and Kairi, who unfortunately don’t have nearly enough interaction within the games themselves. Some scenes are also altered ever so slightly to shift sole focus from Sora and onto the others (Sora tears up but doesn’t fall to his knees when he reconnects with Riku, Riku gets super sniffly instead). I REALLY like this. If you’re a fan of the three of them as a little triad, like me, this is a version of Kingdom Hearts you are absolutely going to want.

Love the contents of the manga to bits and pieces, but I'm not too happy over paying full price for the book only for there to be quite a bit of damage to both covers and the spine. A lot of creases, wear, little rips. The material on the top part of the spine is ripping right off. The back of the book, where the company that sold this put their sticker, also is dirty around the sticker with some black sticker residue.

I'm a huge fan of the Kingdom Hearts and this manga series does not disappoint! I actually feel like I understand Sora better as a character after reading it. Definitely worth it for any Kingdom hearts fan or someone trying to get into the series.
