I've been a user of the traditional Classique Mont Blancs for years, but I love the non-traditional look of the Starwalker. Like other Mont Blancs, the Starwalker is packaged in an elegant case that's great for displaying the pen on a shelf or your desk. The pen itself is beautifully crafted and well designed. It feels substantial in your hand and is perfectly balanced. The exterior of the Starwalker is textured, which provides a decent grip. The area near the pen tip is smooth and comfortable to use for relatively long periods of writing. As with other Mont Blancs, this pen is much heavier than your garden variety bic, so your hand will get tired if you use it constantly all day. The Starwalker does lack the distinctive star on the Classique; instead you have the trademark Mont Blanc star visible beneath what appears to be clear acrylic. I love this look, but it may not be appealing for Mont Blanc traditionalists.

AWESOME! GREAT QUALITY PEN!! - I wasn't sure if the pen was more chrome than gunmetal, and it's actually more to the gunmetal side of things. Pen works as most Mont Blanc pens, great quality. Pen comes in a case and with it's booklet of authenticity. Pen is also serialized.

Gorgeous pen that exudes typical Mont Blanc quality. Pros: Superior appearance. Cons: Writing grip is smooth steel which allows your fingers to slip down towards the tip as you write. Can be annoying during copious note-taking. Will use primarily as a signature/brief notes pen. Not a good choice for extended writing.
