Trixie24371 TX1 Automatic Feeder 300 ml / 15 × 7 × 24 cm Charcoal / Black

I bought this feeder when I had to ask my daughter to feed my cat. This saved her having to come early morning and I now use the feeder if I want to have a lie in at the weekend. The feeder works well and the cat is happy to eat her food from it. The ice pack was useful in the warm weather.

We got this to make up for the fact we both work long days and it would stagger his feeding time. Worked great the first day. Then after that the timer just stopped working and didn’t open.

Bought this to make life easier for our pet sitter and it did the trick. Our cat was a bit fussy about eating wet food out of it but that's her hang up, not an issue with the product at all!Lots of good things:-The option of adding the ice pack in to keep food fresh is a fantastic idea, especially in the summer-It's a good size, nice height off the ground and takes quite a bit of food in the tray-Easy to keep clean as the tray pops out when you want to wash out any leftovers (depending on how much of a glutton your cat is!)-The timer seems accurate as far as I can tell-Even though it's plastic it doesn't look cheap or flimsy, no sharp edges etc.The only reasons I knocked off a star are as follows:-There is a slight audible clicking from the timer, but it's not too noticeable (and if you're using this when you're out of the house then it won't be a problem at all)-There's no off button, you have to take the battery out if you don't want it to keep running, which is a bit of a faff as the cover for the battery case is rather tricky to get off and back on againHowever, considering the price and the overall quality I'm more than happy to recommend this!

I bought this automatic feeder as I work long hours and I wanted my cat to have food in the middle of the day. I found it very easy to set the timer, you can't set it to open at an exact time just at an approximate time but that isn't a big issue. I didn't bother having a practice run to see if he would eat from it as he eats anything but a shy eater may need to be encouraged to eat from it to start with. There is a removable dish that is easy to clean and it comes with a cold pack that you can place under the dish if you need to, I just use it to put a handful of dry food in so haven't used the cold pack yet. Ideal for if you know you are going to be late home and my hooligan cat hasn't managed to break into it so it is fairly robust. It needs one AA battery which lasts for months. I am very pleased with it, highly recommended.

This product stopped working adequately after 2 weeks,most days it will only open when empty,not much good to a hungry pet! And now I'm told that I'm not entitled to a replacement!!

Worked great for the first couple weeks, then we found that it was not not opening and our cats were going without food.. the clock no longer works and I’ve changed the battery.. waste of money really

feels a bit flimsy but decided to give it a go and to test the timer. if it's set for under 4 hours, it doesn't open. however, set it for 7 or more and it's fine. the guide recommends you feed your pet from it for a few times so they get used to it. i did this but asked my daughter to call anyway in case it wasn't working for the evening i was away. it had opened on time okay but my cat was just sat staring at his food! he's got used to it now and it's a comfort knowing if i'm going to be home late (or want a lie in), he'll still get his meal on time.

Brilliant. Ours was a refurbished one, so got it super cheap (£10).We already have 2 Cat Mate feeders that are set for long days out (our cats like their wet food at regular intervals - they are only just one and still revert to their kitten feeding timetables).We got the trixie because our boy cat is starved at 4am and wanders the house meowing and disturbs his sister cat and us until 6am when our alarm goes off.This easy to set up bowl works on a count down timer. Keeps the wet food fresh and pops open at 4am - he has his breakfast and then goes back to sleep. Its brilliant!There is a little freezer pack for warm nights that keeps the food cool.The food tray is removable and can be popped in the dishwasher.Honestly it is one of the best gimmicky aides that i have bought.

Guter Futternapf welcher bereits seit einiger Zeit zuverlässig seinen Dienst leistet und meine Katzen zur angegebenen Zeit verpflegt. Natürlich ist das Einstellrädchen nur eine grobe Zeitvorwahl, man kann also nicht genau einstellen dass die Katzen um z.B 7:30 Uhr ihr Futter bekommen es ist dann entweder 7:40 Uhr oder 7:25 Uhr. Ansonsten tolles Teil, Kaufempfehlung von mir erst recht zu dem Preis

Mon chat réclamé à manger à 3 4h du matin cela devenait pénible nous avons décidé d'investir dans ce distributeur facile d'utilisation avec sa petite molette à régler un petit pack se trouve sous la gamelle et peut être mis au congélateur afin de garder la nourriture fraîche vraiment je recommande

Funciona genial, por lo único es que no puedes poner un hora exacta porque es un reloj de 24 horas y lo tienes que calcular aproximadamente . Trae una placa que puedes dejar en el congelador y así si tienes que programar para varias horas en verano, puedes mantener la comida fresca. Su diseño es perfecto, no lo puede abrir con sus patas.

Funziona bene, il timer è più preciso delle versioni precedenti.Ma la caratteristica principale è che i gatti non riescono ad aprirla.Ottimo prodotto.

The media could not be loaded.  Simple arrangement that works like it is supposed to... It opens when the timer goes to 0. The timer is manual, so when setting it, a little bit of error can happen in the time (say half an hour this or that way). It opens once and then stays open until you set it again, so it is good for one meal. My cat has not been able to tamper with it in any way to get the food out.There is a removable bowl that can be cleaned... also one ice gel pack to keep below it.Editing 2 years after original purchase: It still works fine for me!
