Not only does it feel good when resting your hand on it, but also provides a better tactile feel when it comes time to throw a shift. Key Features: Billet Aluminum Tired Tread Grip NOTE: Installing this solution on 2005-06 Jeep TJ models will result in damage to the threads which will further prevent the re-use of the original shift knob. Review: Like the feel of this shifter vs the factory. Replaced it on my 2008 JK. Just watch the YouTube videos on how to remove the factory knobs, which is very simple. Just pull them right off. The set screw for this knob is under the rubber tread. It takes a small Allan wrench to tighten, very easy to install.
Review: Well, a knob is a knob and some are better than others, but this might be the best… only time will tell.

Like the feel of this shifter vs the factory. Replaced it on my 2008 JK. Just watch the YouTube videos on how to remove the factory knobs, which is very simple. Just pull them right off.
