BARGAIN
I was a little sceptical over buying this having read some of the other reviews but looked at the seller information and with over 1000 reviews at 5 stars, I gave them a go.I'm very glad that i did and 2 days after ordering the bench, it had arrived with no damage to the packaging at all.All pieces were as expected and the frame is very solid, good level of powder coating and so should last for some time with regular use.The instructions are now in several languages (including English) and I don't know what the fuss was about as they were very clear and easy to follow.I've done a lot of DIY and this item goes together very easily (compared to other products requiring assembly) and certainly feels solid.Don't be mislead by the term "folding" this does not mean that it can be folded away for compact storage, it is referring to the incline function - having said that at 110cm long (excluding footrest) it is one of the most compact weights benches I have seen and was the main reason for my purchase. The design is spot on - the mechanism for adjusting incline is much better than on many expensive benches I have had before and requires no undoing and tightening of wing-nuts - it makes changes very quickly.Over all a very good purchase, I can't believe it is made for just over £40 - very impressed.

Cheap and easy to build.
Perfect combination for my dubell set allowing me to achieve my tricep, shoulder and chest workout routines. Whilst adding extra to my bicep back and legs. The paint comes off easy and packaging wasn't great, nor instructions. However only took 15minutes to build so maybe it wasn't too bad.Wouldn't recommend use for barbell unless you have a trust worth spotter. With dumbells you're good to go on your own.For the price, can't complain about anything. Would always prefer the gym over this, but for sick days when you want to work out still and busy days of study or work and you want to squeeze a session in gym closing time hours, a great alternative. When I want to do a dunbell workout I will stay at home instead.Wiah it came with its own tools to build though! For some people this could be an issue.

Solid, but Non declining.
I only read the reviews (which are ostensibly abysmal) after I had ordered this (foolishly) so I waited with dread and trepidation for it to arrive.... which it did only a day later... I was already impressed.Yes, the box came with a massive hole in it... by some fluke of fate, in the end only a few washers and one single nut was missing. Which I was thoroughly chuffed about because it would be a ball ache to post back.Clear, English assembly instructions. makes sure you assemble in the order specified, rushed ahead with the closest parts to hand and had to disassemble again to get them to fit with the other part.... but its ok, cos i always liked meccano (erector set??? have a word with yourselves America).I don't know what all this blah is about it being rickety, TIGHTEN THE BOLTS and put the washers in the right place. Its as solid and the ones at the gym.The only drawback is that it doesn't decline (I originally typed "declining workout bench" into the search bar, which is really the fault of Amazon's search algorithm, because when i checked the sellers product description.. nada ) so that's not great for the ab workout.Other than that, its ideal, I couldn't ask for more at this price . lets see how long it lasts.

READ THIS IF YOU'RE THINKING OF BUYING IT!!!!!!!!
So, after hours of sifting through countless benches I decided to go with this one. I read all the reviews which seemed to say the product was generally flimsy and s***. It was. I decided to go ahead thinking I was reading from a bunch of grumpy unfortunate customers who couldn't read the instructions. The package arrived 5 days later and I immediately opened it up. Each piece was in the box in tied up packaging and the spinal structure for the bench was already put together. The first 'step' requires the builder to attach the feet. The screws don't fit in properly and so stick out at a 45 degree angle into the carpet. There are two 70mm screws which came as one which was 75mm and the other was 65mm. The foot rest attaches to the bench with a U shaped piece of metal which has a screw going through. The U is bigger than the centre it is supposed to fit onto so there is no w\ay to tighten it anymore. This happens on the attachment for the moving bit which determines the angle of the back rest meaning the back wobbles during use. The metal was rusty and appeared to have some kind of blood stain on it. The whole thing feels as though if I lift a couple of 25kg dumbbells it will collapse. However I am keeping the bench because I cannot be bothered to go through the hassle of getting it sent back and returned. I also really want to start using it. I'm 6 foot 3 and fit nicely. I weigh 75kg and it holds my weight + two 20kg dumbbells.TO anybody reading this I advise you to spend a little bit more money to get something acceptable and do not waste your time or money with this product. This thing can be assembled and used but it wobbles and I never feel safe on it. Please don't read this and think you can just get away with it. Just keep looking for something stronger.Hope this helps and again DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!Note- The photos are of the badly fitted U thing and the screws which do not fit the holes (The screws are square but the instructions say to put a washer onto it to stop it fitting the square shaped hole?!)

Well worth the money
After reading reviews I was sceptical about buying this. Okay the instructions are not the best but if you've ever seen a bench before it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work it out. The nuts and bolts fitted correctly for me and had no problems with them at all, cant see how others have had trouble on that front. The bench is sturdy and can take a lot of weight, the padding on the seat isn't brilliant and yes it is stapled on the back but I'm not after aesthetics. The bench does it job and delivery was super quick. If you want something that looks nice and is super comfy then this is not the bench for you. If you want something you can lift weights on with a tight budget this is perfect.
