Definitely worth it! *by A***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 December 2020* Outstanding - so far!At first I was looking at a cross trainer in the £8/900 bracket (wanted something substantial) Then I saw this 2 in 1 unit, I was expecting it to be a some humungous price, but when I saw this one my first thought was “nah, never!” it’s got to be flimsy, squeaky and noisy, even although most of the reviews were saying otherwise! I also thought the flywheel might be too light and the step length too short. They were neither for me (6’ 0”, 93 kg - and that wt is why I required it, and, the weather is rotten here in Scotland for cycling/walking during December, and the rest!)Anyway, I hummed and hawed for over a month and then took the plunge.It was delivered on time and all the components and tools (substantial and snug fitting) were there.The unit assembled without any problems (follow the instructions to the letter!) I got ahead of myself a couple of times and had to back peddle (pun intended) and, it was nice to see a manual with decent sized font. I didn’t look at the utube video as the manuals’ instructions were clear and concise. Look closely at the diagrams if you’re unsure (me!) because it’s all there.It took me (64 yr old lad) 2 hrs, 11 mins and 25 seconds to complete the assembly (yep, had it on a timer!) it took me nearly 30 mins to unpack and remove the packaging alone. It was well packaged! I also read the manual - probably a first for me!After reading some of the reviews about how quiet it was I still found the machine surprisingly quiet. No creaks or squeaks - yet - if it does start I’ll splash on some 3 in 1 oil (probably require it on my joints first!)It’s great to sit down for a breather and just cycle. And the monitor is ace too.I feel sorry for those who didn’t get all the parts or they did not fit correctly, I hope you get them to sort it out because this is a marvellous machine...so far (I’ve had it for 2 days)Update:The unit came in 2 manageable boxes (approx 4ft x 2ft x 10 in) the one with the Main Frame is quite heavy - some folks might require help with it.The wheels are a good addition, just take care with the balance and that you don’t tip it over when picking up the rear. I also used the Fixed Handlebar (you need to be quite tall for this method) put your foot on the front stabiliser to prevent the machine taking off until you have it balanced, use your foot again to prevent it rolling towards you when setting it back down.I got asked also if the 30min unpacking was part of my assembly time? Yes.The nuts, bolts and washers in the package are clearly marked, they even have this in sections for each step so you can’t go wrong.IMO, Viavito have clearly put a lot of thought into all aspects to make it easy as possible for the customer.Machine still going strong, everything still working, unlike me! But I’m getting there. It was fairly straightforward to assemble, at worse it was a bit fiddly at times but bare in mind I’m a female with no DIY skills whatsoever! I went straight to the video, which is really good, ignoring the instruction manual completely. It’s sturdy enough (less sturdy when using as a cross trainer compared to the bike as I do feel a slight wobble when using as a cross trainer).The computer seems basic and somewhat dated. Despite reading the instructions I haven’t been able to get any of the program functions to work. Doesn’t bother me too much as I use my Apple Watch to monitor all of my fitness activities.The machine has been used every day since it was delivered this week and so far so good.
