Keep it Clean - 10% Sulphur Soap - whytheface

I seem to have developed Perioral Dermatitis as well as type 2 Rosacea in my mid 30s. I tried a sulfur mask which helped a ton but its very thick and the scent means I cant use it daily or I will stink! I decided to try this soap and within about 2 days of daily use, my skin is defo showing signs of improvement. My skin is very oily and this soap defo dried it out but not in a bad way, it seems to have paled down the red bumps too and my skin is generally looking less textured and red. I am pairing it with a non irritating anti redness night cream and I wake up clearer each morning. The smell is minimal in my opinion, I expected full blown egg but it is very faint and not an issue at all. It lathers well and I think it will last a while, I am actually about to order some for my mum who also has PD, as I am so impressed with its effects.

For all my life, I have suffered from itchy scalp, inflammation and seborrheic dermatitis. Any product you can think of, I’ve tried: Nizoral, T Gel, charcoal scrubs, steroid creams, expensive scalp treatments, head and shoulders the list goes on and on. I had seen a post on Reddit of someone using sulfur 10% soap which helped their skin and tried it with their hair and their scalp did a 180 and thought I’d give it a go because I had nothing to lose. This thing is magical, for the first time for as long as I can remember, I no longer have any scalp itch, inflammation and my seborrheic dermatitis has completely gone… I can finally go a day without having to shampoo! From shampooing every single day without failure to being able to go a day or even two without shampooing is crazy to me! I have high density, fine hair that is keratin treated and this has made the world of difference (for anyone that has keratin treated hair, I haven’t noticed any change in the texture of my hair nor has the keratin treatment been removed from my hair) I use the soap directly on my scalp 1-2x a week, work up a good leather and really give my scalp a good scrub just using the pads of my fingers. Leave for 3-5 minutes and rinse. YOU WILL DEFINITELY NEED A DEEP CONDITIONER AFTER YOU USE THIS! My hair becomes outrageously dry but once I’ve deep conditioned, it feels like normal! When I don’t use this, I am able to use other shampoos as I normally would inbetween using the soap. The smell isn’t the best however once I use a deep conditioner and my usual styling products the smell is no longer there! If you’ve suffered with poor scalp health, please do give this a go! It may seem dramatic but I genuinely have a new lease on life being able to not wash my hair everyday, not having any sort of scalp itch/inflammation and not having flakes all over my clothes.

I bought for rashes and itchy skin. It cleans well but the rashes needed to be seen by a doctor. The product maybe is fine but didn't help the itchy skin. So be sure you need it.

OK so I work in the fast food industry and that means my face is covered in greasy gunk and prone to black heads, pustules etc. I have acne scarring and my pores always get gross no matter how I cleanse. I've also been on antibiotics for the last six years to try and clear it up. Tonight I tried this after my shift at work. To test its potency I purposefully haven't done face packs this weak or daily cleansing. So my blackheads were quite dark and my skin was feeling awful by the time I finished my shift. I used a bamboo flannel (face towel) and wrapped the soap in it before adding warm water and getting a lather going. I then proceeded (in the shower) to lather this on my face a, back and chest where I get bad acne... I honestly feel like my skin has been exfoliated (in the good way). I don't feel gross and groggy and the blackheads I did have on my nose have gone from black to beige. My skin feels a tad dryer but not in a way most cleansers dry skin. I used to feel itchy after using scrubs and cleansers but I don't feel irritated at all. I also used this on my shin area and my scaly legs ( caused by shaving) are no more. I don't mean to be one of those amazon reviewers that seems to positive about something. But I can't really fault this on my first use. It doesn't even smell like sulphur. Just like antibacterial soap 😂 you will need to use a light facial moisturiser after. I use superdrugs chamomile range which is budget friendly, a really good moisturiser and it calms the skin. I'm sure this soap and that moisturiser will work wonders. I wonder if they do a shampoo version of this for dandruff :) Update a week later. Acne scarring is noticeably less and I haven't had any signs of new acne emerging. Update a month later Just bought my second bar. So if you use it twice a day it should last a month. If your a bit of a scrimper like me i suggest buying a mesh soap bag too so you can cleanse even with the smallest flake of soap :). I've noticed over the last month a very pleasant change in my acne, scarring and number of pimples and even though i had a mini breakout due to my monthly i think i'll be swapping out my cleanser and daily scrub for this bar. Which means i've saved myself just under ten pounds a month switching :D

Es una maravilla, a mi me salen muchos granos en la espalda ya que la tengo muy grasa, sobre todo en verano o cuando sudo. Este jabón me los quita todos, una pena que a veces sea difícil de conseguir. No hay nada mejor. Huele un poco pero con tal de no tener granos lo que sea

Nachdem ich diese Seife nun schon einige Monate benutze muss ich mal meine Begeisterung kundtun. Habe fettige Haut die zu Mitessern und Entzündungen neigt, aber auch sehr schnell allergisch auf Duftstoffe reagiert. Die Seife stinkt leider wirklich übel und man bekommt auf Anhieb nicht das Gefühl sein Gesicht zu erfrischen. ABER es hinterlässt ein wirklich glattes weiches Hautbild und trocknet Entzündungen aus. Meine Haut schaut so viel besser aus das ich schon darauf angesprochen wurde. Benutze sie mittlerweile nur noch Nachts weil sie doch sehr stark entfettet aber sie lässt über Nacht alle beginnenden Rötungen oder Schwellungen verschwinden. Der Geruch haftet übrigens auch nicht am Gesicht, habe schnuppern lassen.
