I purchased these scissors recently and my oh my are they one of the best things that ever happened in craftwork! This is the first time I've used shear type scissors and these are brilliant. I do a lot of quilting and embroidery and also make cloth dolls. These are perfect for cutting intricate shapes out of any fabric! I soon learned whether to use the snips (ends) or the whole shear. A gift to work with and am now looking into what other kind of scissors this company manufacture. I recommend highly. I just edited this review because I was so impressed with them that I forgot to mention that they aren't really suitable for dressmaking unless you have some awkward corners to snip into, but they are great for other crafts such as cloth doll making, embroidery, quilting etc. Also they come with a zippered carrying case that is very well made,

These are good scissors but not very micro tip. They aren’t very fine. I do miniatures and wanted micro tip to snip into small corners to get a smooth fold but these won’t got far enough in.They cut paper and standard material well and I’m happy with them for that, they seem sharp and are much more comfortable than standard scissors. For the price they are good.

We had to send this item back as it couldn't snip the couple of layers of cotton during the making of a rag quilt. The cotton simply made the tips of the snips cross over. I don't know what this item is for exactly, it may be fine for general sewing and embroidery, but for the purpose we wanted it for it wasn't suitable.

My wife tells me that these scissors are far superior to any similar sized needle pointed types that she have ever used. They fit her small hands so comfortably that she can use them for long periods, and the spring loaded action is a joy to use. Highly recommended purchase for any quilter especially.

I bought these to help me with quilting . It wouldn't even cut through one layer of thin cotton! It cuts threads fine but struggles with fabric so maybe think twice before buying if that's what you are buying it for. I was so disappointed :(

Scissors arrived in good time and have elegant case. Perfect for a gift for someone crafty! Great price and easy and safe to use. Not as sharp at the tip as I was hoping for but good enough for most precision jobs.

Easy to use, lightweight, with nice sharp blades. I was concerned that the blades would be too long and the different type of handle would be awkward, but they are easy to use and I wouldn't go back to standard scissors.

Light to hold, very easy to use and foes not hurt the hand when using. Extremely sharp along the whole length if the blade. I am thoroughly pleased with this purchase.
