Keep my dinghy fuel clean
I use it for marine gasoline applications to keep the fuel clean and long-lasting when not in use or stored.

Protects your investment in fuel
I have an older 90 HP 2-stroke mercury outboard that is very cold blooded. I takes a lot of cranking to get it running. I started running it at home before I left for fishing to warm it up but that only worked on short trips. Talked to a lot of boat mechanics to see if there were problems with the oil injectors but nothing was wrong so they suggested running hotter spark plugs. That didn't work either. The only thing they suggested that worked was trying Biobor EB to ensure the fuel wasn't the problem. I have always run premium gas and the best oil in my boats but apparently that wasn't good enough for my cranky outboard. I run 1 ounce per 10 gallons of fuel for regular use and 1 ounce per 5 gallons for storage. With a 38 gallon tank using a little Biobor is a great way to protect my investment in today's crappy expensive gasoline. Now my outboard starts in 10 seconds not 5 minutes.

How do I know if it is any good, I just acquired the stuff.
There is really no way to tell if it any good unless you somehow test it in a laboratory, in a controlled environment.I did read some test reports on it and the lab tests were above many other stabilizers tested. So I just bought it and tossed it into all my equipment. What I do is introduce the EB Gasoline treatment to the fuel tank, run the motor until nice and warm.Change the oil and filter if it has one. Then I shut the fuel valve off and run the piece of equipment out of gas.Sounds like a bit of effort, but come spring I will not be pulling on the starting cord until my fingers bleed !Thanks for asking !Brian

who really knows if these products work but I trust the company
I have always used Sta-Bil to prevent stale gas. And now that ethanol has added to the problems I reluctantly went to the higher priced products. Sta Bil has a version which is likely good but I chose Bio-bor because my aviation history has their name as a serious chemical company that helped Jet-A fuel microbial issues back in the 70's-80's when first discovered. Their automotive product was just rated well in a boating magazine test for effectiveness and $ value. Buy the quart size.
