I've Used Them ALL, But This Blush Is My Favourite One
..okay, not them ALL, but close, as I used to work for MAC, waaaayyyy back in 1992, when it was a tiny single counter, exclusive to Nordstrom, and I also worked for Christian Dior cosmetics as an artist in 1989, Visage Beauté before that, so I had access to A LOT of top brands: Lancôme, Prescriptives, Clinique, Shiseido, and so many more, I won't waste yours and my time listing all of them. I've used a lot of the "cheapies" too, of course, because sometimes you find that hidden gem by Revlon or L'Oreal; you never know. So, take it from one who's been there, that this little blusher is nothing short of a little miracle. I'm 50 now, and spent my life in the California sun, so my skin is a bit blotchy (and yes, I'm having surgery soon to remove skin cancer on my face, so PLEASE be very wary of those UVs!), and my "natural glow" ditched me awhile ago. I do have to wear foundation if I want my skin to look even, but not a heavy one, as heavy make-up just makes us look older after a certain age, but the foundation takes any glow that may even arise from a "hot flash" (please, I don't want to talk about it. 😂), so I've been on the prowl for a blush that will give me some good glow, the right shade (between peach and pink), and, most importantly, will LAST!I've used Benefit before, and had been a fan of the Boing! (I know, stupid names, but...cute? catchy?) before my (sob!) crow's feet cracked that concealer every time I smiled, which admittedly is a lot. I balked a bit in blind-purchasing this due to the price, a bit over the top if you hate the product, you know? I liked what I read, and am familiar with the brand, sooo.... great stuff, guys. I don't look 15 again, and frankly wouldn't want to go back there anyway, but I look a heckuva lot "fresher", more awake, and just...better. See, a lot of women don't get this, but BLUSH IS THE SECRET BEAUTIFYING TOOL OF TOP MAKE-UP ARTISTS. Seriously, if you wear make-up AT ALL, blush should be one of your staples, especially as you get older, BUT, it's really crucial you find the right colour and formula.Majorette seriously ticks most of the boxes: dry skin, oily skin (as it's a sort of soufflé texture of cream to powder), light to medium skin tone (Benefit needs to get with the times and create shades for gorgeous dark skin tones as well, c'mon! it's 2017), easy to apply, and lasts for hours if not all day, depending on your activity. I do like that Benefit always includes little compacts as part of their packaging, and the magnet-closure of the cardboard/plastic case makes it feel more worth the price, with no split nails from opening notch-closure plastic compacts. It seems like a tiny amount, but you need so little; remember go easy your first time—good advice for living in general—this is concentrated stuff, and a little on first two fingers, then blended a bit up and out from "apples" of cheeks (the part that puffs up when you smile! if you don't have them, either eat more pie, or smile more!). The smell takes some getting used to, but along with the cutesy packaging, mirror compacts, labels, etc, I think it's a sort of retro thing with Benefit, hardening back to a time when cosmetics were heavily perfumed. It's definitely not my favourite smell, really sweet and peachy-apricot, but I can handle it; if you hate sweet scents, don't do it.I think it's worth the smell and the price, my favourite blush—ever, and yes I have a few MAC cream and powder blushes, and they disappear within minutes if I don't pack it on like a Geisha. As far as using my fingers? Nah. Bacteria LOVE a closed compact, and breakouts could ensue. If so, use a DAB of, and I mean teeny spot of Majorette on a clean make-up sponge, dot on cheeks, then blend with fingers, and do not double-dip that sponge—I cut cheapie sponges into pieces then toss them when all sides have been used. You won't waste product if you do this sparingly, you'd waste just as much using your fingers, and if that's your choice, and you have super-clean hands, go for it.Enjoy your new glow, guys!

Love this cream blush
Love the colour; peachy, natural, sun kissed look. Creamy and velvety so goes on beautifully and the mirror inside the case is useful. I use it on my lips too. It's a bit on the large side for carrying in your handbag.
