Good quality. Color was exactly what a hoped for. Very pleased with product.

The valence served the purpose, but not real stylish. It is thick enough it does block the light even though I was not looking for a valance to do that. I created more style to the valence by inserting a ribbon through the bottom hem area. Doing so with a shortened ribbon created a slightly bunched up puffy effect. Problem solved. I now had a more decorative, stylish valence. I used a metal ruler and tied one end of the ribbon to the ruler in order to more easily get the ribbon through the hem.

I am pleasantly surprised! The curtains are a very good quality.

The description read, "perfect be hung from a standard basic or decorative curtain rod / pole," but the large 3-inch rod pocket isn't going to hang right on the much-smaller standard rectangular-style rod-pocket curtain rod we have in place. That's on me--I should have read that part of the description more closely. It also says, "Constructed with 2" header and 3" rod pocket and 2" bottom hem." No. The header is 1" and the hem is 1/2" all around. Looks cheap.The fabric description and photo imply something quite different from what I received: "These magic curtain valances are crafted from rich faux linen textured fabric" and, "have great look and feel of real linen" also "faux burlap linen." Absolutely not! There is nothing about this fabric that suggests faux linen, woven anything, or even texture. It is a flat, slippery, smooth, slightly shiny thick synthetic fabric that has the color *printed onto the surface* and is not part of the fiber itself. From the description: "This small curtain allows natural light to pass through during the day." LOL, what?? There is no light filtering because the fabric is so thick and heavy. I really wanted something that looked like linen (as pictured and described on Amazon) and had the light-filtering qualities that would include. I also wanted them to gather well on the rod and pouf a little, but this fabric is heavy and slippery and just hangs in a somewhat limp manor. These curtains have no sewn-in tag at all to label the brand name, fabric composition, or laundering instructions. Who knows what I received? It seems to me that either the description is really off or I got a substituted item that someone decided was "close enough." If these were for me, I would return them, but they're being used as part of staging a house for sale, so they'll have to do.

I wouldn't recommend this to someone who wanted true, full blackout curtains, because the material lets light in through small pinprick holes all over. They do not have the same quality backing that real blackout curtains have. That said, they are beautiful, lightweight curtains that do block out a lot of light and look lovely. The color is exactly as pictured. Aegean Sea is like a light teal, or dark aquamarine. Not slate blue or gray blue, not aqua. I am very pleased overall.
