A: Yes.

**Q: Hello, what size compost plugs can this propogator fit in?**
A: About 3or4 centimetres. Quite small

**Q: Why is it useful to have holes in the tray?? Normally water goes in the tray to under-water the seeds?**
A: I’m guessing extra drainage I think it’s good to sometimes water the tray to help the roots with growth, it is a good tray.

**Q: Are these suitable to grow cacti from seeds?**
A: yes i would think so

I'm so happy with these. Such good value for money!! I made a mistake in reading other reviews and thinking they had holes in so I brought some trays to go with them but when it arrived the bottom had no holes. Maybe they have switched to solid trays or maybe I got an odd one? Either way these will be perfect to sow my veg seeds. Plenty of cells, a good size, the lids fit on properly, the tray feels decent and well made, and I'm looking forward to using them.

It's a bit odd that the retaining tray has holes in it but that's by the by. Overall this is an excellent product for propagating seeds. I bought a 40 cell and 60 cell only to discover they are the same size, the 60 cell having much smaller cells. As such I find this version to be superior. If I required more, I would definitely prefer the 40 cell.
