I love the detail that came out in my clay

These Christmas tree fondant molds are beautifully detailed, sturdy, flexible, and worked very well with epoxy resin and air dry clay. The cavities are shallow enough that most of them should also work well with UV resin. The cured resin pieces do not come out of the mold glossy and must be top-coated to achieve the gloss. The large tree mold was slightly difficult to fill with resin because of the many fine branches but it actually turned out pretty well. The molds released the cured resin pieces easily. I also used these molds with air dry clay (green second picture) and the majority of the cavities worked very well with the clay and the clay pieces released easily and intact with all detail. I would buy these again.

One mold is on a slant and if you are using anything liquid, expect it to all run off the mold as there are no edges. The tree mold is ridiculous because there is no room for the liquid in the branches and impossible to remove what you made. If you do get it removed, the branches are paper thin. Total waste of time, money and product trying to use these molds. Look elsewhere for decent molds.

These molds are really detailed, and have very realistic, pretty shapes. I tried them with some chocolate and was not impressed. Only the smallest of the molds came out fine. The others broke the chocolate apart when I was trying to get it out after it had set. I think they are just not deep enough for chocolate molding. Perhaps it would be better with fondant.

These molds are so thin that the candy doesn’t come out without breaking. I threw them away

These silicone molds are SO AMAZING, easy to remove, clean and details .... I haven't used soldier yet
