I was suprised how good is it compare my other brands like Nike Pro compression shorts. Quality and material very strong and doing the job as good as Nike (for double price) if not better. The most important thing is that, these shorts holds your male parts on place very well, so wearing in the gym you dont need to adjust your things there even if you have a long training. Im using these for leg days and deadlift and I feel the extra support on my hamstrings and glutes. For this price I bought here it worth every pennies. The manufacturer own webshop sell these on more higher price.

These shorts feel secure and supportive. I heard a couple of threads snap when I first put them on, but to be fair, I can see no sign of damage or wear.

This product has made a huge difference to me. I hadn't really been able to do much more than just walk due to a torn cartilage and inflamed medial knee ligament for well over a year. My knee feels so much more secure in the brace and this coupled with some orthopedic insoles to correct my ankle roll has been transformational. Wearing the brace I have been playing competitive sport again and going to the gym. I'm so happy, it's well built, it is also very easy to wash (the metal bits can simply be slid out) and It even fits under my cricket whites and I can bat in it with pads on. The only thing was one of the metal bits felt a bit long and was a bit uncomfortable against my pretty wide calves. I found that just adjusting the metal slightly has done the trick. Not cheap but well worth the money. I have since bought other products in this brand to help prevent hamstring and groin pulls, and they too are excellent.

I have been using these shorts around twice a week for 6 months to run with. I generally run 10k's but have run a few 10 milers. I have had issues in the past with muscle fatigue and support when running as I am a fairly heavy runner. These shorts are great as a compression short I have tried other brands such as Nike and Skins but these provide a really good level of support and compression. They are really comfortable to run in and you don't suffer rubbing or the waistband rolling. HOWEVER....they are NOT ROBSUT after around 4 months the inside leg seams started to go. The stiching is just not up to the job. I tried contacting McDavid but no response and preserved by repairing at home but eventually both inside legs just gave up. For a £45 pair of shorts I would expect much better lifetime and with the lack of support I can't recommend.

These are just what I need as I have had a lot thigh injuries of late. They fully support my hips and thighs and give me added confidence in my Pilates and Yoga classes. I do not need to wear a thigh support to give me the confidence that these give me. Although tight, they are very comfortable and once I've worn them for a short while I don't know I've got them on they are so re-assuring and comfortable.

Good overall compression - much better than normal compression shorts as the material is better and due to the stitching pattern. Would have given it 5 other than some of the stitching being weak - very good product if you need additional support when doing gym stuff.

I have a Labral hip tear in other words torn a bit of cartilage. I’m waiting for it to be injected and wasn’t able to do get around. Got a pair of these and helped more than paracetamol!!! Really supportive and fit well I bought a 2nd pair so can swap and wash them Yes the elastic made some snappy noises when I put them on but I’m very pleased with them

Used for rugby. Very good and nice tight feel for support. Only issue u need to wash in a wash bag as the sewing gets worn out very easily.

I am a runner, and sustained a mid level hamstring strain doing speed work. I tried several different brands of compression shorts, but none excpt these provided the level of compression that I wanted/needed for my injury. The heavier "wrap" section of the shorts gives excellent support in the quad, groin and hamstring area. I just ordered a second pair of these, the best testimonial I know to their effectiveness. The other brands may look cool, but if you need heavier duty compression support, without having to use an Ace bandage, these are the ones you want.

These are compression shorts/underwear that are true to the sizing chart. I ride mtb's and DJs which involves intense use of my gluten, hip flexor and quads. My glutes and hip flexor never felt recovered from ride to ride. These compression shorts gave me more stability and consistency. They are tight though in the right areas while comfortable to wear with a slightly higher waistline which is good for the lower back/sciatica. I've only worn in cooler weather with good results. They breath and dont see a problem in warmer weather. For me, these are for exercise and intense workouts. As has been said, they're twice the avg price of other comp shorts/underwear, you get what you pay for. Handwash, not a problem. I feel more in alignment when wearing these. Yes, I recommend. I take them off after exercise or when going to bed
