This is going to deture a theft.
Not sure why a member thinks this is easy to remove. It's pretty hard to cut a cable with a Sawzall and a criminal won't be bringing the tools to remove this hardware. I've installed two of these and even including an option to use one on two converters! Bottom line is they can't be taken without time and a struggle.

Misleading
Rip off. Advertised as universal but it’s not. When you buy this product you think it will protect your vehicle from theft of catalytic converter. Nope. You’d have to buy multiple units to cover separate converters. When we searched for our vehicle it said this would work BUT didn’t disclose it would take 4 units to protect our vehicle. Would never have purchased if proper disclosure was made.On top of that i got sick right after delivered. Couldn’t take it to get it put on until return period had expired. Then shocked to discover it wouldn’t completely cover my vehicle. Waste of money.

Haha
You have got to be kidding me it's obvious you have no idea how easy it is to take these off now the thieves get free stainless as well as your converter

Universal Design
Just finished installing one on my Toyota Tundra. Install was pretty simple - just wrap tightly to hold it in place and then a series of tight wraps around the cat and a few looser ones securing to the frame rails. Probably took me 25 minutes. Very clever universal design in that you can install it/wrap it in numerous ways keeping a thief guessing. With my Tundra having four catalytic converters, I will change up the wrapping technique for each one. Just make sure your converters are cooled down before install as wow, do they retain heat for a few hours!
