I ordered this product after reading forums about Ford AWD SUV's and Maverick trucks making noise from the rearend when accelerating from a stop and turning, which was exactly what my Maverick was doing. The dealership wanted $300 to do a differential service, after watching a you tube video, I decide to do it myself, it was so simple my 10-year-old grandson could have done it, you don't even have to jack up the vehicle, but you will need a pump to attach to the bottle to pump the fluid through the fill hole, it's cheap and available on Amazon or your local auto parts store. it fixed my problem and saved me $250.

BRONCO SPORT OWNERS... If rear differential gets noisy, rumbles, groans replace the fluid. Idk if factory put wrong fluid in but mine got noisey at 27,000 miles. Here's a big fank you to FOMOCO!

It's the fluid Ford specs for 2022 Ford Edge rear differential. Serviced it at 12,500 miles. You would think it's premature. However, fluid was dark and the magnetic drain plug contained quite a bit of metal. It makes some sense that the majority of metal would be generated early on, as the gears are mating. Easy job to do. You just need the correct low profile hex to remove the fill plug. A plastic pump that screws to the top of this bottle is recommended. Makes the job of refilling a lot easier.
