The 9029R should only be a 6" as you stated. Amazon should correct this... **Q: Where is this made?** A: I have no idea where it is made but I agree about the quality. I give mine quite a hard time. If you prefer the R/H type of shifter/adjustable spanner you have to order the 9029 'R' which has the thumb screw with the right hand thread. I had one a long time ago and someone thought they would do me a favour and clean it with a chemical spray and destroyed the soft handle. I had quite a bit of trouble finding the 9029 R. Everywhere was selling the 9029 which is the left hand screw. I bought one and ended up giving it away because it drove me nuts.Some people prefer the left hand ones. Works well and holds its setting—great addition to the toolkit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent adjustable *by A***R on 26 November 2012* As a sparky (who also does the odd mechanical job) in a very large plant with diverse equipment, I need to limit the number of tools I carry around, and this spanner (along with a 6" bahco 9070P) has now replaced a roll of ring spanners and most of my ratchet spanners. The wrench itself is of good quality steel, with a positive feel on the adjustment wheel. The jaws stay put in the postion they have been set to, and there is very little jaw spread under load (by no means the case in cheaper adjustables you can buy). Note the spanner head is wider than you may be expecting, however this is a function of the extra wide jaws.
