Great for getting kids involved in cooking
My youngest loves helping in the kitchen, so I thought a set like this would be perfect for her. This set comprises of 4 plastic knives, each with serrated edges, a wooden knife, a fancy edged slicer and a peeler. Now I should warn that yes, these are safety knives, but anything that's sharp enough to cut through fruit can also cause injury. Some parts on these are sharp. Youngsters should always be supervised when using these as they're definitely not toys. My daughter is 7 years old and to be honest, I probably wouldn't let her use these if she were younger. Supervised however, she was able to peel carrots and chop some of the smaller ones for a stew I was making. She also used the wooden knife to cut up her own sandwich. They're a really great set and perfect for capable youngsters to get involved in cooking and develop useful and hopefully lifelong skills.

Good selection of kitchen tools for children to use under supervision
The media could not be loaded. The video just shows the different implements in my hands so you get an idea of sizes and overall quality. However, in a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Range of knives and chopping implements, all of which are pretty safe for a child to use with supervision.+ The peeler performs as well as any similarly shaped peeler, surprisingly!+ The push-down cutters (one wooden, one plastic) work pretty well depending on what you're cutting.Things I didn't like:- The knives aren't particularly sharp and don't do a great job of cutting raw vegetables etc.Do I recommend it?Yes. Even though the knives aren't particularly sharp, if you're using these correctly and with supervision, a child can learn/be taught by you the fundamentals of using a larger knife in the kitchen in a safer way. What was particularly noticeable was how much more confident my daughter felt when handling this knife when she knew it was less dangerous than a proper kitchen knife. However, do ensure you're using these responsibly - you must teach your child and they should be used under supervision. If a child were to mess around with one of these knives, they could still hurt themselves or someone else.
