The Best of The Best Tomato Ketchup
I love this tomato sauce, so much so that I find it very difficult to go back to Heinz when this runs out. I first brought this product from my local ASDA store at 1.99 a bottle. Unfortunately however, for some unknown reason they discontinued the product line, which left me with a problem of where to get this sauce as I didn't want to go back to Heinz for many reasons, but the primary reason was their use of High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS). So I was happy that this product turned up in an Amazon search. There's not much that can be said about this product really except that it is indeed a superior product to the top selling brand (Heinz) on the market today. Yes it is expensive but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for and this is simply the best of the best tomato ketchup that I have ever tasted. Moreover, it is organic and uses good, to honest sugar instead of HFCS, and believe me you can taste the difference. At it's current price on Amazon (14.72) for a pack of 6 bottles, it works out to about 245 a bottle with free postage. Sadly there are many sellers on Amazon selling this ketchup at totally stupid prices, which does lead me to believe that either these sellers must be really stupid themselves to think that people would pay 5.00 and upwards for a 310g bottle of tomato sauce, or are merely fake sellers set up to push the customer towards their cheaper product under a different seller name. I don't know. Either way they can get stuffed if they think I am paying stupid prices for this sauce. In the end, they will just do themselves out of money...that is if they are a genuine seller. Also, why is it that this review only appears under this particular sellers name? I am not reviewing the seller I am reviewing the sauce. Period. As such I would expect this review to be grouped together with others regardless of the seller. Maybe someone from Amazon can enlighten me as to why this is/is not the case. And for a small fee, I would be available to tell Amazon how they could easily put this right. The only trouble is that this sauce is worth the money for someone on a bigger budget, who can afford to pay silly prices. It's the sauce equivalent of a vintage wine or an expensive 25 year oak casked whiskey. The only other trouble too, is that this sauce is so good you'll want to use it on anything and everything you can use sauce on, and it will run out very quickly. The bottom line? Expensive but worth paying the extra for the best tomato ketchup you will ever likely taste.

When I received my items, 2 of the sauce ...
When I received my items, 2 of the sauce bottles were broken, and very unsafe as the glass was through the wrapper..I will be ordering another 6 bottles in the next two weeks.

THE VERY BEST
During the most recent years I have tried pretty much every tomato sauce brand on the UK market. Everything from the most common brands to the most obscure. Expensive, cheap, variants, overseas imports, everything. That means a little over 230 types. There have been surprises amidst all those. Some obscure imports very good, but one labelled "Finest" from a well known household name supermarket tasted totally artificial, full of chemicals, seemingly far removed from authentic. So compare to all the rest, where does this leave Tiptree ? ....My reasoned personal rating, then, is this is the best quality, based on flavour, texture, and ingredients. At the time of writing, compared to the largest four supermarkets, this pack of 6 pack price here at Amazon is very cost competative. One other thing... Manufacturers are notorious for cheapening contents whilst raising price. To the best of my knowledge (and believe me, I watch closely) Wilkins have avoided this so far. The onlything they could improve is to provide the option of a larger size too.The bottom line? WELL DONE Wilkins & Sons.

delicious slightly spicy tomato sauce
This is about the nicest tomato sauce I have ever tasted, and also made of natural ingredients lacking in the usual additives and colourants etc., so I feel it is a healthier product. It has a slightly spicy taste, not strong, more like a hint which is very tasty.

Nice but hard to get out of bottle
If refrigerated (as told to do on label) I find it almost impossible to get any to come out of the bottle. I use a chopstick to help. Otherwise it tastes nice, if a little expensive.

Not organic, what a shame.
Lovely tomato sauce, but organic it is not, unfortunately. Misleading description.
