ETI Turbodryer 2000 Salon Professional Hair Dryer Black

Quick, delivery. The hairdryer is brilliant.

I purchased this hairdryer for my sister who is an ex professional hairdresser and recalls using this style of hairdryer in her profession. For years she was trying to find this style of hairdryer that would provide the good quality that she is use to but without the expensive price. So finally the search is over. The quality of this hairdryer is amazingly sturdy and powerful, made from what seems to be a strong quality, shinny plastic material. Because it is a turbo hairdryer it is guaranteed to dry your hair quickly and throughly from the roots, right down to the ends of your hair regardless of the length of your hair, it will still dry it quickly. The fact that the two switches are different colours, this will easily help you to know their functions. For example the red switch is to control the heat, which ranges between cold, warm to hot. Whilst the black switch simple is to turn the hairdryer on or off.The delivery services was fast and efficient to the point my parcel had arrived a day earlier then stated. I appreciated the fact that I could fully track the delivery, which helped so that I did not miss when the delivery guy arrived. So to conclude to pay £39.95 for this professional hairdryer, when they are often sold for more, is worth every penny and a great investment. So I highly recommend this hairdryer, as you won't be disappointed.

A little heavy for me, although manageable, but it is a really good and effective hairdryer. The cold shot really works well unlike other hairdryers I have had in the past. I bought it in black and the coloured ones were more expensive.

Dries hair really well, 3 speed settings and a cool air function. Reasonable price very pleased with the product

I bought after reading all the reviews and I am very pleased with this purchase. All four of us use it within the family, my eldest and myself have soooo much hair. Quick blast and then get down to styling ...... Fab. Some driers are tricky to find a good setting, but this is simplicity itself. Plus the switches are not only in the right place, you don't nudge them whilst drying. Absolutely perfect. I only have one criticism, if you can call it that. The cable is stiff, but is very long (another plus) and tends to curl round itself a bit and then I get the loop stuck on my drawer knobs. Not much of a moan though. Would def buy another.

Already had this model which I dropped and broke but decided I would order the same one again. Great for my fine hair but not uncontrollably powerful. Power and temperature switches on side of handle so not pressed by mistake when holding dryer. Plenty of cable and perfect weight so no arm ache! I love this product.

I've had eti hair dryers for the last 20yrs, which amounts to 3 in total. When my one broke earlier this year I tried another well known make, however this was a false economy as I have just purchased another eti. For me they are the perfect hair dryer, fast for drying, but accurate when styling, the nozzle doesn't spin round or move (my main criticism of the other purchase.) It has a nice long lead so you can get all around your hair without having to stand right next to the socket. All in all the best hair dryers around. Love it!

UPDATE: following my review below I received a replacement ETI dryer from Second Glance Beauty in May 2014. Unfortunately this hair dryer also failed (burnt out) in Feb 2015 after only 9 months light usage. I contacted Second Glance Beauty again to request that this be replaced as the replacement dryer was also less than 12 months old from new. Unfortunately this was rejected by Second Glance Beauty as they said the warranty period is 12 months from the original order! Really unhappy both with the poor quality/reliability of the expensive ETI product and also the retailer, Second Glance Beauty.My strong recommendation is to give both a wide birth and buy a different hair dryer from a different supplier.---------------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW - April 2014.Having had limited success with various "salon stylist branded" hair dryers (usually failing within 12-18 months) I decided spend more and purchase a premium dryer (ETI Turbodryer2000) instead, feeling quite confident that it would last much longer. ETI dryers are used in our local gym so we assumed that they would be more resilient to constant use.Unfortunately whilst the dryer worked fairly well for a couple of months (albeit not as powerful as I had hoped) my daughter started to complain of getting electric shocks from the plug after removing it from the socket. My wife has since experienced the same and it is now possible to frequently see blue electrical arcing sparks inside the dryer and it now emits a loud squealing noise.OK - so it is still within the manufacturer's 12 month warranty so I can it repaired/replaced. However, it seems I have to return the dryer at my expense (they are bulky and heavy so not cheap) and of course I then need to wait for it to be assessed by ETI ...so guess what, I have to by another dryer in the meantime.In summary, as this premium ETI dryer has failed within only 3 months from purchase then it certainly makes it the worst dryer we have ever owned...My strong recommendation is to probably avoid.
