Tabletop TerrainArmored Fortification by War Scenery for Wargames and RPGs 28mm 32mm Miniatures

This product is a typical example of 3D printed scenery for tabletop wargames like Warhammer or Iron Kingdoms. The model does not come with directions, but it's easy to figure out how to glue the handful of pieces together. The style fits well with my other Warhammer 40,000 collection pieces, with a vague "grim sci-fi" feel.I've knocked a point off the review because the ridges from the plastic printing process are pretty visibly obvious, even after priming and painting a section. This doesn't make the scenery unusable, but it is a little disappointing. I am pleased with how thick and sturdy the pieces feel. Gently pressing on the pieces to test flex or breakage didn't reveal any obvious weaknesses. It's a good sculpt, just doesn't really feel like the best print job.That said, I do recommend this scenery. Its price is seriously good - especially compared to anything by Games Workshop or other mainline retailers. There's a bit of a drop in quality compared to those companies. However, this price is about 50% of what GW would charge, and the quality is NOT half; it's a 10% or 20% drop at worst. I think noting that the product was 3D printed and may have signs of that process would have given me more information, and I probably would have given the model 5 stars.This is a company I'm interested in keeping an eye on for other Warhammer 40K-adjacent deals.

Overall this is a nicely built, good looking bunker to use as terrain in miniature wargames. It comes in several pieces and was fairly easy to figure out how to assemble but getting the turret pieces and satellite dishes attached took a little bit of patience. It would have been nice to have slots and/or pegs to attach these pieces into rather than having to just butt them up against one another, but once I had them glued and aligned properly and left them to dry overnight, they came out ok. Overall, I like the look and function of this piece, it just needs to be a little easier to assemble.

This is a wonderful addition to a war gaming table. At first I thought it might be a little small for Warhammer, but it's actually just about perfect. The detail is impressive and the modular design is great.I haven't had a chance to paint it yet, but it looks like it should be easy to do and look great when I get the time to do it right. In the meantime, it still looks better than most of the half finished stuff I had before.I was also impressed by how sturdy it feels. I don't think any part of this set will implode if it gets bumped and it might even survive a gentle fall. It feels tougher than most terrain I've used/seen.Overall, I don't think you can get better plastic terrain than this for the price. It's a good deal and I'm glad I picked it up.

Nicely designed, very good modular options, assembled with little difficulty. A good addition to a Warhammer 40K set at a nice price.
