SR-2A 2-Way Satellite Radio Splitter

Works Exactly as Advertised
I wanted to have two Delphi base stations in my house with only one radio. Yes, I must move the radio but this is not a problem. It is important to know that Delphi radios provide a small voltage for the antenna connection that can be used for inline antenna signal amplification. My Terk outdoor antenna utilizes such an inline amplifier but it did not provide enough gain for splitting the antenna. Replacing the Terk amplifier with this one did the trick. Very happy!! Make sure to properly ground the antenna/splitter device.

Two SIRIUS XM Receivers, One antenna
Fantastic product. I wanted to have a SIRIUS XM receiver in my class C Motorhome in the front driver area and one in the back. I originally tried a simple splitter until I realized that the one receiver that was on was sending power through the antenna wire to the receiver that was off. Not wanting to damage the receivers I purchased this. Not only does it allow two receivers to share a single antenna it also boosts the signal. Works great....highly recommend.

Effective but way too expensive
Custom, amplified splitters are the only way to split signals from Sirius antennas. I wanted to get the 4 way, but paying as much for a splitter as I did for the commercial grade antenna just didn't seem right. A confusing part is how the splitters are amplified...from the radio itself. Not having to plug it in is nice, however over doing the cable runs can over tax and potentially destroy your radio. So, I have Sirius running to the cable jacks in my family room and bedroom. I would love to have it in the office where the real cable comes in for internet, but that requires yet another type of joiner/splitter system to separate out the cable signal. Since I have 30 down/3 up megabit internet, I'm not messing with that signal.

Didn't work for me
This set is a hemorrhoid. I thought I could split a single satellite radio in, into two going out. One to a satellite radio in the dash, and one to power an auxiliary satellite radio. Nope. Neither radio worked.Ok, how about just to one satellite radio. Nope. Seems you cannot leave one end open.Using a single antenna in, and trying to split that signal just did not work.I had it grounded well, even ran a ground wire to it.Hooking up the line directly to the satellite radio worked well. Placing this in the line caused the radio to register no signal.Had to return it.

good product
The product is different looking in real life, but works great. It is lost more smaller than I expected, but it works well. I drive two XM radios with it. and both have excellent reception.

Location Location.
This splitter works great with my antenna (Pro 600 SiriusXM) that I have. I have a strong signal at both location for my radio now.
