Loctite 442-21448 50Ml Retaining Compound638 Maximum Strength

Absolutely amazing product and legit the real deal. This is like Loctite 609 s bigger stronger brother. Made as a retaining compound NOT glue like some dipsticks mentioned below. This also works amazing for installing sights on firearms and rifle rails. Even the screws but know heavy heat will be needed if you ever have to remove it. Also note the bottle are largest because the product needs 50% air in bottle to NOT solidify, so those dummy's saying it's half empty Clearly have zero experience with these products

I tried Loctite 242 on an Oilite bushing and it did not hold when I went to machine it in place. I reworked with this and it held just fine. This is the stuff to use.

This version of Loctite is a permanent metal sealant. To remove the nut or bolt you must heat. Great for applications that require a permanent solution (such as rivet nuts).

Best price, and availability of 638 loctite i could find! Properly half filled green liquid just like its suppose to be. Smells like vinegar as should. The bottles come half full because, as long as there is air in the bottle, the liquid won't cure. This stuff has an expiration date, and my bottle is good for 2 years!

Use this every time I install torque converter input shaft seals.
