Crystal Vision IPC Router/Repeater (Extend WiFi Range) for CVT9604E-3010W HD Wireless Surveillance System NVR CCTV

My furthest away camera was lagging behind the other cameras. It doubled my wifi signal for that camera.The directions don't tell you, but you need to plug the repeater into your router to get the system to "see it"

I purchased the CVT9604E-3010W HD Wireless NVR Kit for $389.00 from Walmart, plus taxes and shipping. I had ro have an electrian to install two extra recepticles for connection and installation of camerara, since it was on upper level of house. Only one camera would hold a signal. the rest were mostly out. I talked to online techs. They gave me all sorts of suggestions. One being this IProuter repeater. Like the Crystal Vision Camera kit, it was useless. My best advice is to stay awa from anything by Crystal Vision. I'm very dissatisfird with their ability to create a gool visual signal.

Works great really boosted the signal from the cameras. It also increased the camera speed ,reducing lag.

It took a combination of an antenna extension and the IPC router/repeater, but I now have all cameras working with full signal strength over quite a distance, despite a few brick walls in between ! Setup of the IPC repeater took a few attempts, but all works great once set up.

I can not get this to connect to my nvr l CVT-9604E. And crystal vision tech support not to helpful. When I explain my problem the response I got eight hours later was the same thing that was in the instructions that I already told them I followed five or six times.

I had very poor receptions from all my farthermost cameras. I tried to install this using the instructions that came with it. Not much information, and it didn't work and 5 of my 6 cameras no longer worked. I kept trying all kinds of stuff, but then I decided to read all I could find in the internet. I learned that this system uses the cameras as wifi repeaters. They call a repeater an "air bridge". And the first camera channel one has to be the closest and best signal. Then as you get farther from the base unit put the later channels until those with the weakest signal are the last channels. The signal strength was doubled, that I didn't need this repeater. But if I use it according to the manual on line, and not the one in the box, I am pretty sure it would work to extend my range even farther. It would have been better if this had been pointed out in the manuals. All my furthers cameras were the lowest channels so I had to change the positions of almost all of them.
