Needed updated WiFi on an old laptop and this was a great option for a good price, easy install and quick driver download and it just works. Tiny too.

For starters, this suited my application perfectly considering I picked it up for an older laptop with a failing internal wifi adapter, so my standards weren't set very high. The price was perfect and came in way below the cost to replace the internal wireless chip. It connected right out of the box without the need to install drivers, and performed better than the internal adaptor ever did. The design is very sleek and low profile. I didn't bump the adaptor once while moving the laptop around during my room-to-room signal tests. Its ability to pick up a strong or weak steady signal and hold it is great, especially since the laptop was from 2012 and naturally has slower hardware. Even tried out a little light gaming in each room and it held a connection beautifully. I'll likely purchase another one for another older gaming laptop I have, also from 2012 with a slow internal adaptor. That way I won't have to switch this one back and forth between setups If you're looking for a cheap and steady way to connect older hardware to the net, this will get the job done and definitely gets a "would recommend" from me. Pro: Works well, easy to use, compact. Con: It gets quite hot while in use. I only use it for short periods of time but I would not use this as a permanent solution out of concern that it could melt my USB socket.

Perfect option that worked immediately. Plug it in, and done! So, my laptop had suddenly quit showing me the ability to connect to a wifi signal at all. I tried all sorts of troubleshooting nonsense of resetting my computer and who knows what else. All I had to do was just order this product and be done! It immediately brings Wi-Fi signal to your laptop so that you can connect to whatever wife signal you have in range. I almost paid for a laptop repair cost until I discovered that this product exists! Knowledge is key, so I hope this info helps someone else out there with the same problem. I spent hours chasing support from my laptop, tons of calls, and all I need to do was buy this plug in product? Miracle. Wish I knew about this much sooner.

Have an Asus Laptop...not the greatest but it is all I can afford. The wifi starred randomly disconnecting. I would have to put it to sleep to reconnect. It started happening more and more until finally I have to restart it to get it to reconnect. I just kept happening more and I believe it would have eventually given out. Obviously the wifi was failing. Bought this for sale for 17.99 and just plugged it in and BLAM. It worked. It came with a CD Rom and booklet but I didn't need either one which is good because my laptop doesn't have a disc drive. Drivers installed on their own. Be sure to disable your original wifi in your computer so the system doesn't default to that. Speeds are better than before which makes sense given mine was failing. I pay for a 100mbps connection and get 120 through here so I am very satisfied. I cant speak to range however since I am in a apartment so I am either in the same room as the router or in the bedroom but I get the same signal.

I got a micro-PC that didn't have wifi and added this USB wifi adapter. It works as expected, no issues so far. For the price I paid, I'm happy!

Didn't work for me on a MacBook. Possibly for PC only.

Te gonuna computadora Vaio del 2007 aún funciona pero ahora que la actualice a Win10 perdía la conexión del wifi y ni actualizando controladores funcionó, aunado a una conexión no muy rápida, con esta aparatito la conexión es estable y carga bastante rápido, la verdad lo recomiendo mucho si quieren revivir equipos viejos o pc que no tengan una tarjeta de red. 5 de 5.

This product states that it supports windows 11, i have search for the correct driver and try to install for windows 11 only to find out that there is no windows 11 driver, not even claimed 10, 8.1, 8, mac driver is found, i downloaded the driver for windows 7 and try to open it to install for windows 11 pc and indeed it does not work because there is no windows 11 driver uploaded into the site at all, hence making this product completely unusable. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT be it from amazon and online shopping or retail stores for this said reason.
