No it’s a synthetic velvet wire edged ribbon. I used it on door wreaths last Christmas and it was ok outside if it got wet it still held it’s shape and dried out again. In fact I saved my own bow to reuse this year.

Hi not sure this ribbon is suitable for the intended purpose. The ribbon may fray. I recommend purchasing and trying it out. I definitely recommend this ribbon for making bows which I made for Christmas and use year after year if stored well. Hope this helps x
