Brilliant healthier sweets. Perfect for diabetics (in moderation).
When I was diagnosed with type II diabetes a few months ago I thought I could never enjoy a seeet agxjn never mind my favourite Werthers! Hooray! I found these.The taste is very similar - the other version are a bit creamier and bigger but because I don't have those these are like heaven in my mouth on a day when I want a treat! Brilliant if you like sweets but want to cut back on sugar.I don't eat them all at once as still watch the carb content but love these. When deprived of a lot of yummy foods you used to have these are a sanity saver. I tested one on my son who loves the originals and he never noticed it was not the same. I have to hide them now!

Pretty good but massive waste of plastic.
For a sugar free version they're pretty good. In a straight comparison you can easily tell the difference as they have a definate added "butter flavouring" taste I can't put my finger on. However they are individually wrapped which is a massive waste of plastic. I would rather have them end up being stuck together.

werthers sugar free butter candies
it can be so difficult finding good quality sweets for diabetics and i was glad i found this online as i have never seen it for sale. This was a present for my father and he said that the flavour of the sweets were lovely and did not taste of sweeteners like other products do. Will definately be purchasing it again even though it was a bit more expensive once you add p&p. But overall worth it for a nice treat.

Can't tell the difference
I recently bought these (and these Werthers Original Sugar Free Chewy Toffees - 80g) for a diabetic relative.Initially I was very sceptical of how good an idea this was after having bought Sugar Free Jelly Teddy Bears 1 kilo bag as a gift prank for one of my friends (the sugar free version famously has some rather intense laxative qualities). However, my relative enjoys them and reports no ill effects! Personally I can't tell the difference from the regular version.The bag was a little smaller than I expected - it was about the same size as a bag of sweets you could buy from the cinema. I think I was imagining the much larger bags werthers used to be sold in.
