I bought this to fire proof some home made bunting that we wanted to hang at our wedding. It worked perfectly.We had our wedding in a marquee and wanted to hang our own bunting. Unfortunately the insurance was only valid if the bunting was flame retardant. Obviously our home made stuff wasn't, and so we went searching for a solution. I saw this on Amazon, along with the good reviews and decided to give it a go.Having over 100 foot of bunting and without 100 foot of space to hang it we didn't fancy the idea of spraying in sections, so we bought a couple of bottles, poured it into a bucket and submerged the bunting in sections in the bath before hanging it on the line to dry. This solution probably used more of the liquid than spraying it would have done, but it saved us a ton of time and in the run up to a wedding it was in short supply.I'd definitely advise that you wear gloves and use this in a well ventilated area. It does smell a bit (although the finished dry item doesn't after an airing) and I'm not sure what effect it might have on bare skin for an extended period.The marquee provider took a section away for testing (and we did a bit of testing ourselves at home with a lighter) and it passed with flying colours. Our bunting proudly hung at our Wedding and received loads of praise and lovely comments.Overall I'd highly recommend the stuff, and it comes with the approval of a professional company, so it must be up to the job!

Ordered this product on Sunday and arrived Tuesday, very impressed with the quick delivery. What I'm most impressed is I am making a Tutu for my granddaughter and obviously it's made of netting. So, because of the positive reviews about this product I ordered it. I have tried it on a piece of netting and the netting did not go up in flames. I am so impressed with this as I know how dangerous children's costumes can be when they come into contact with any naked flame. I would recommend this to anyone.

Good stuff just hope it works well as it says odourless but there is a very strong glue like smell after using product but you do get plenty of it in spray bottle

The items arrived very promptly and seemed well packaged, however, despite covering the top of the bottles with film, they still leaked. Also the spray guns were not very good, didn't spray evenly and left the fabric too wet, I had to use a spray gun from another product to get the right spray..The instructions were easy to follow but actually only stuck on one of the two bottles.On the whole product was satisfactory and did the job. Please improve the quality of the spray guns and ensure the bottles don't leak in transit.

Other half wanted roman blinds but she also has a habit of lighting candles on the widow cill. The blind fabric wasn't fire retardant - I know because I cut off a sample piece of fabric, held it with tongs and held a lighter to it. It burnt fiercely in seconds into a molten black mess. So I bought this product - I repeated the burn test after treating another sample piece. Held the lighter to it for a while before it would burn and it self extinguished as soon as I took the lighter away. The product didn't change the colour or feel of the fabric, just made it fire retardant. Great result.

Prompt service, appears to do the job well, easy to use, clear instructions, good service

Despite other reviews about not knowing if it worked - we followed the instructions and tested this on a scrap of cloth - and it worked -- went black but didnt flame. Coverage of 6m2 was correct but with nothing to spare. Wet curtains took a lot longer to dry than expected (not a problem for us but there was no warning with product).
