Such a good blade
Such a good blade - really surprised they are not supplied in the box when buying the plunge saw, at the price just buy one, really easy to change the blades over and what a difference when ripping or cutting any sheet material, save your fine blade for fine work, costs me £6 to get this blade sharpend!

Awesome blade
Some people say the ts55 is underpowered for ripping hardwoods, not with thr correct blade! This blade cuts like butter. Well worth the price!

I needed a rough cut blade to trash cutting up reclaimed timber, it smashed through a tonne of nails before giving up.

Makes underpowered Festool track saw cut faster
This Festool ripping blade makes underpowered Festool track saw cut faster. If you don't already know Festool track saws have significantly less power than a cheap Chinese skill saw that probably has a built in lazier line, costs 1/6 the price and will last for years. Thank you Chinese Manufacturer / shame on you Festool. If you purchased a Festool track saw and now you are trying to figure out how to get it to rip cut any hardwood boards at half the speed of a inexpensive Chinese saw without overheating in a single cut, then this blade is for you. You still will not cut very fast without the Festool track saw overheating but, you will be cutting very significantly faster than the cross cut finish quality blad that comes with the Festool saw. Unfortunately this blade doesn't leave a edge smooth enough to glue up in my opinion, but who wants to spend all day cutting a few boards with their overpriced Festool? Time is money.

Do not use the blade that came with the Track Saw for long cuts. Use this blade!!
I almost killed my saw using the wrong blade to make a long cut on a hardwood door. This blade is specifically designed for making rip cuts.
