Hoover Washing Machine Door Interlock Switch. Genuine part number 49030389

Broken washing machine door catch… arrived next day, matches the one that needed replacing, easy to swap & install & works a treat!!! After a heavy handed door slam I had a quick internet search for a replacement part, found a YouTube clip & thought it was worth trying (esp as calling someone out to even look at my washing machine door would be a silly expense!). Make sure to double check your WM make & model.

Bought for our hoover washing machine the better half wanted to throw it out after the the door became faulty. It arrived before the due date. It was easy to install and is a cheap fix rather than buying a new machine.The repair was well worth it and is still on our machine today.

Had the washing machine silightly less than 2 years. Clear design flaw with this component, why not a screw in each side for starters? Each time you close the door one screw on a plastic mechanism it taking the weight.10 year parts guarantee is worthless, unless something major goes wrong, you're looking at £120 call our fee for a £6.50 part (or £15+ on eSpare sites that reassure you it fits the machine in question). My model wasn't listed but the part looked identical. If it looks like the pic and is Hoover / Candy / Hotpoint you are in the right place.I'm not convinced, due to the design of the longevity of the replacement part. It's will certainly make me think twice before buying a Hoover / Hotpoint / Candy machine in the future. Clearly designed not to last.Part was easily fitted disconnecting the power and removing the lid, rather than messing with a rubber seal.Easy fix, poor design and shouldn't have broken so easily in first place. Looks like they've been dining out on this for years.

Muy fácil de instalar, tenía la lavadora inoperativa y gracias a la venta de oficial de este recambio he podido repararla yo mismo. ¡Ha quedado como nueva mi lavadora!

La versione migliorata rispetto l'originale dove la vite di appoggio era su una striscia in plastica questa invece è corpo unico con il telaio dunque più resistente
