Great little piece of kit far better than the dremal plastic rubbish it's metal it's quite sturdy perfect for small jobs. As long as your steady and understand that this not going to replace your router. But gives your multi tool (of choice) a wider and steadier range of uses. Anything with a 20mm OD or bigger it should fit around, it's a split collar with a cap screw on each end.

This attachment was well designed, much better than Dremel routing base. It is small, cast aluminium alloy, rigid and functional. However, build quality of the one I got is very poor:- There's a big drop of solid epoxy on the side & bottom plate of the router base. Obviously, the guy who glued in the depth guide justed dropped some epoxy on the base and didn't bother to clean it. I had to carefully clean it off the base, otherwise it wouldn't stand straight.- There's another blob, this time of paint, on the parallel guide. Same story, had to polish it to get flat surface.- The holes for the screw knobs are just horrific. I don't know HOW one could make them such oval. One of them hardly has any thread in it (see photos)Overall, I'm quite disappointed - I didn't have any need to "fine finish" proxxon tools before. Out of the box it is barely usable.

I did read some of the reviews and was prepared for the worst but even knowing that, it failed to alert me to the dire lack of quality in this product. The basic design is flawed from the start. Expecting a poorly drilled aluminium frame to slide cleanly up and down a pair of steel out of vertical alignment poles is expecting too much. The holes have been drilled oversize...enough for the frame to bind. Look at the photo. Who needs any locking screws when it won't rise back up the rods by itself? And if you ever make the mistake of pushing it all the way down to the bottom, well, hope you have a hammer handy. And just look at the inside of the bore ?It's going back.

Well made and rigidly constructed.

I have a lot of Proxxon tools and have found their quality, design and finish very good - until now.This router attachment is poorly finished in two quite important areas. The tool holder does not slide easily on it's two columns and the depth stop nut is too big for the channel it's meant to run in causing the tool holder to jam.Greasing the guide columns has smoothed the action somewhat and fitting a threaded sleeve to the correct diameter has cured the depth stop issue.It is now a half decent attachment but it have been so much better.

A bit disappointed with the fit and finish and quality of the base casting. Will do the job but not so well engineered as the Proxxon tool which I think is very good compared to Dremel.

This is quite sturdily made from metal, and it holds a Proxxon Micromot securely. However I found the plunger mechanism far too imprecise for accurate use. If you can set it up how you want and then lock everything down it's wasn't so bad, but getting it exactly as wanted was tricky, with one of the stop nuts interfering with the tool holder. The plunging mechanism was disappointingly sloppy though, loosen it enough to move smoothly and the cutting point of the tool moves far too much, tighten things up just a bit and it binds up. Personally I'd expected better from Proxxon.

Not the quality I expected from Proxxon had to make adjustments to make it work smoothly.

Proxon in my opinion are some of the highest quality tools on the market today, for both professional and hobbiest alike.

Por mucho tiempo use dremel, elCual consideró bueno, esta pieza que convierte tu proxxon en un mini router es una belleza, más manejable de tamaño pequeño y cómodo, su ajuste es excelente así como si maniobrabilidad.
