Boxie® Gently Scented 30 Day Natural Odor Control Cat Litter, 40lb Clumping Clay Kitty Litter

After reading many reviews, I decided to try this litter because most people said that the lightly scented one worked best.I have been researching the easiest, less fuss litter box method. I considered the automatic ones and using this litter, but there seems to be issues with every single one.So, I purchased a covered corner box with a charcoal filter. Purchased pan liners and sifting bags, and the Boxicat waste bags and a small lift top waste bin. For me, the Boxicat liter works really, really well for this set up. I have back issues and cleaning the litter box is easy and quick. The litter does clump really well better than the arm & hammer brand. My cat urinates in the same spot and there’s a huge pee ball, and with the other brand it would stay a little mushy and break apart when scooped. This litter dehydrates the liquid waste and the odor is undetectable after a few minutes.I scoop 2x a day and dispose in the Boxicat bags and toss in the small bin next to the litter box. I empty it once a week and there’s literally no smell! At the end of the week I lift out the sift bag, add a little fresh litter, and repeat. I have a litter mat and I just vacuum bits of litter that my cat leaves, and it’s not nearly as much or messy as the other brand.I’m happy with this brand and it works well. Note, I’m a new cat mom but have had cats before, and I am a germaphobe and neat freak. I researched a lot before trying to find a system that would work for me and be safe for my cat. I recommend Boxicat litter and the Boxicat waste bags. They are a game changer! My cat is happy and I am happy.

I have 3 very large cats. Last year I broke down and purchased a litter robot. Since getting the robot I have literally gone through at least 25 + different kinds of litter - from store brands to all of the name brand litters in every line they carry. The litter never really helped with odors and the litter was tracked everywhere. I decided to try Boxiecat litter for the first time this week and I am so thankful I did. For once, the claims they say in the description are 100% true. The litter has a light scent, but works amazingly on covering the odor. There was zero dust when I poured it into the box. Very miniscule amount of litter outside the box since putting in Tuesday . I usually have to add litter to the box and change the waste drawer every 2 days. Since filling the box on Tuesday, I have not needed to add any litter, and just had to empty the waste drawer today - thats 4 DAYS instead of 2!!!!! As if ALL that isn't good enough, I will save money not needing to buy litter as often! So if you are looking for a litter that covers odor, is hard clumping and doesn't track all over the house- buy Boxiecat litter!!! I've owned cats my entire adult life, and this is by far the best one I've purchased!!

My experience:I needed a clumping litter that was fine and would trap odors really well. This is perfect for using with a Litter Robot.Clumps on urine and poop effectively within the 3 minute delay that out Litter Robot waits before it cycles to trap the waste in a separate bin.Our cat's experience:Our cat is 6 years old and has no major issues with this litter. The litter does get stuck between his toes at times which means that he flings some litter outside the box when he exits. A quick vacuum over the area takes care of that.

I have tried many different types of cat litter. Almost everything in the stores plus all the new trends.PrettyLitter is an awesome idea, but it didn't stay clumped. It fell apart and just made all the colors blend together. You definitely have to keep up with this daily.KittyPooClub was one I stuck with for awhile. If you kept up with the stirring of the litter, it wasn't so bad but about week 3 it got gross and I had to wait for my next shipment to come in. The price wasn't cheap enough for me either.This Boxiecat is great. If I forget to scoop it, it isn't a huge deal. The lumps stay together when I scoop it. There's plenty of litter to last me all month and the litter doesn't start to get gross after week 3. The price is pretty good and it ships right to my house.If they could get rid of the plastic bag it comes in, it would be even better!

I’ve been evaluating this litter. I’ve received it a couple times for our two senior cats. Being seniors, they urinate a lot because of kidney issues. So, litter is important regarding them. They drink a lot of water.Is this litter worth the extra bucks? My evaluation says, no.Wet litter does stay on top more than cheaper brands, I’ll give it that. Our cats, most often, go on the edge of the box though. This litter sticks to the sides of the box just like any other brand. Thus, to me? Not worth the extra expense.Is it dusty? It’s the same as other brands. They all say little dust but as I poured this into the box? Dust came up just like all brands. Nothing special, except the cost! Special attention … Not worth the money.

Clumps well. Absorbs odor. Was like sand or fertile soil under his feet. . Well worth the price. Luxury item to spoil your cat. Once you go cat...there's no going back!

So I have 3 kitties. Cat litter is a big expense as they all like the box clean so I scoop twice a day. With this cat litter not only is it easier to scoop but there is much less waste. It lasts longer . Saving me money. I go through about half the amount of cat litter with Boxie cat. This is great for me. Also importantly my kitties like it. It controls odor very well and immediately as well. I am changing brands permanently !!! Great cat litter. It costs about a dollar more than my previous brand but I spend about half the money in the long run.

Nice mild smell, clumps great. There is a bit of tracking but a mat in front of litter box stops that. Very nice litter.👍❤️

Just recieved my litter and as in many other reviews, the bag was opened and spilled all in the box. I will update my review after a few days of trying it out to let everyone know how well the product actually works.I really like the litter so far so I bought a bigger bag. It came in perfect condition!!! If yr able to afford it,it is very good. No dust and it does seem to last longer than other litters. Still not quite sure if it's worth the price but I'm trying it out.

I have two kittens who have very smelly number twos but I never noticed until I tried a different brand high rated cat litter. I ordered a 40lb bag of another brand and in just 2 weeks I'm almost halfway through the bag and contrary to their ad, there's little to no odor control. So I switched back to Boxie. What a difference! Supreme odor control, I don't notice any dust, tracking is minimal to nonexistent (only litter on the floor because A hole kittens like to dig and kick litter at a fierce speed) plus the clumping and scooping when using Boxie litter is better than any other brand I tried. Boxie clumps urine before it hits the bottom of the box which makes cleaning the boxes so much easier. One 16lb bag of Boxie litter lasts the two kittens twice as long as the 40lb bag of another brand. Well worth the price!! I won't make the mistake of trying another brand again! That's about as risky as using that 20 year old profilactic you find in a bowl of thumb tacks and hope it's still effective.

Came highly recommended online. Purchased one scented and one unscented of this product. Both of them clumped really well and one bag lasted a long time. I could not wait to be rid of it however because there was no odour control even with the scented version. I had to use baking soda on top of the litter and even that was a temporary solution. Would not purchase again.

This cat litter has been GREAT for us! We have 3 cats and this is the 1st litter I've found that actually does everything it promises to do. If I scoop it every day/every other day, it lasts a loooong time and that is very unusual with any litter we've tried, especially with having 3 of the little booger heads using it. 🐈 😻 🐈‍⬛️ 🐈‍⬛️I've never seen cats actually REACT to a bag of cat litter before but our cats LOVE 😻 this stuff! They all come running when I open the bag of litter and they wanna smell it and touch it before I pour it into their litter box, lol. One day right after I filled the litter box with fresh litter (before any of them used it), I found my cat on his hind legs, holding on to the litter box with one arm/paw and pushing around and playing with the litter with the other paw 🐾.I don't know specifically what excites them about it, other than liking clean litter obviously, but they get excited, which they did NOT do with any other litter we've ever used. I also really love that even with the litter being UNSCENTED, I never smell that ammonia-pee smell in the mornings when I come out of my room, which tends to happen with other litters (even if they ARE "scented"), especially being in a smaller home or an apartment. We're in an apartment with 3 cats so it makes a HUGE difference!I highly recommend this stuff! It may SEEM to cost more than some other litters at first, but when you see how great it is and how long it lasts, you'll see that it's actually LESS expensive than other litters. And more than anything, my cats reactions to it EVERY time I open a bag of it... is almost the same as when I shake their little bags of treats, so that tells me I'm definitely using the right stuff. Can't hurt to try it... that's how I looked at it the 1st time I ordered it, bc that is the best way to find out... and now here I am telling everyone else that they should definitely at least TRY it.
