Summit Sum-104 Multifit Roof Bars (Pair Of) For Cars Without Running Rails

Ordered the roofbars for my 2014 Nissan Juke. Item arrived promptly, unfortunately it went downhill from thereon. I pride myself on being 'mechanically' minded and can tackle most tasks and read and reread the fitting instructions. I spent over two hours trying to fit the roofbars, the problem was the rubber pads would not sit squarely onto the roof. The instruction were very specific that in order for the bars to be used safely the rubber feet must be in total contact with the vehicle roof. On testing for movement the bars started to move alarmingly. I came to the conclusion that the parts were generic in nature and not made specifically for the Nissan Juke, or the wrong parts were supplied. Either way I have sent the roof bars back for a refund. I am irked that this will cost me £6.00 for the pleasure? Why on earth should I have to pay for an item that is unusable? Not a happy chappy.

I have a Seat Ibiza 1.4 2013. I went for these after being quoted £184 from Halfords (fitted). I searched using my car details and they verified that they fit. I was a bit nervous after buying them as there have been some negative reviews.. Anyway I received them next day (prime), the instructions aren't particularly great, I had to go on youtube to watch someone assemble them. After that it took me less than half an hour to fix to my car - By the way I am no really technical with cars and I have never installed roof bars before, so I have to say I was quite pleased with myself!! Only real downfall was that one of the bars stoppers were missing with the packaging, other than that great!

This product is worth the money and did the job it was meant for.I would advise anyone buying this product to go on holiday, to check the fitting are still secure ,every couple of days.Mine did start to come loose after 3 but no harm done and after being tightened we were good to go.

Great quality, but did not fit my car, although everything on the description assured me they would, but hey ho that's car spares for you.

Good quality, unfortunately was put off by damaged, resealed packaging! Disappointing to see scratches on plastic coated feet and plastic sheaf around bars was cracked. Fitted anyway, as couldn't be bothered to send back. I suspect a lot are sent back that are the wrong type!!

The product was fine but the packaging was poor, and the DPD delivery guy left washers dotted around my house, along with one end of the packaging in my front garden, with the rest of it in the back garden. Easy enough to fit and so far seems just fine.

Works well on my '97 Toyota Corolla 3-door. But I think it needs to be thightened every now and then. For the price it is worth it, but if it ispossible to find any other brand I would consider checking it out. Seems good enough.

DO NOT USE THE COMPATIBILITY SYSTEM, just don't, go to the manufacturers website and check there first, results are different and I wish I had found this out beforehand.Before ordering you are advised to confirm using your car details whether these are in fact suitable, I ordered them in good faith once I received confirmation that they do fit my car.Received them and tried to fit, NOPE, they do not fit my car, 2015 Toyota Auris Touring Sports.and now I have to pay to return them, absolutely disgraceful !
