Really Great Frisbee - KONG vs West Paw Flying Dog Toys
I write this as a dog walker whose used this frisbee with 4 different breeds, sizes and ages of dog and all have absolutely loved it. It's floppy, heavy rubber with a small rim- the floppiness means you have to use both hands to fly it with which you'll be sorry about when its wet and muddy. I've not taken a star away because the dogs love the floppiness, it means they can really enjoy swinging it around the place and fold it in half in their mouth. The weight allows it to fly steadily in high winds, just spin it into the wind. Because the rim is shallow you have to throw more with the arm and less with the wrist. The floppiness is also great because you can play pull games with it. I've had a Labrador bury it, chew it and my own collie drop it in the river- it stayed in the river for three days till it was shallow enough for my dainty dog to drag it to the shore, and pick it up without getting his head dry. KONG vs West Paw Flying Dog Toys West Paw Design Zogoflex Zisc Dog Toy I thought I might write a comparison between the Kong Flyer to the West Paws one as they are the better frisbees for dogs out there and I have had several of each. The Paw's frisbee is firmer and can be thrown one handed, and further, but I'm using both at the moment and I'm afraid the dogs prefer the Kong. The Paw's one claims it can float but I have two frisbees somewhere in ditches that say otherwise. That said it will float a little while the Kong was drops like a stone. The wider rim allows a better wrist flick and better flying, it's lighter but that counts against it strong wings. Over all both have equal merits but for the price- West Paw was £12 when I bought it and now have raised their prices to £18! King is more than £10 cheaper and (which should count as the most important thing) the dogs seem to prefer it.

Great and long lasting dog toy
Great item for our dog who has managed to destroy all other tiys soars from Kong branded ones. He loves to chase this, shake it, chew it, etc and it is still in one piece so definitely a great buy for us.

Excellent exercise for pet and value for money
The product is very good ,but my German Shepherd Devil hound Cassie has gone through them in less than a week, she rips and bites at it like any of her other toys and hence it can no longer be used as a flyer, However if you have a well behaved dog that drops it , it will last for months, it flies a good 20 to 30 metres with a good throw, although the old ball and chain manages about 3 feet, apart from that it gets 4 star because the prices have fluctuated recently going up and down by approx 20% , depending on seller but all in all its an excellent flyer, flies far and very well and is very cheap for what your actually getting and would definitely recommend to any pet owner. After 5 minutes of throwing the dog is nearly as happy as a dog wearing sunglasses with its head stuck out the car window riding shotgun, really decent product.Don,t bother with inferior plastic brittle flyers which break after one throw, get this instead.

Good
Happy with this. My 7 month goldendoodle quickly worked out how to pick it up despite the 'floppy' structure and enjoys playing fetch with it (I keep it low to the ground given that she's young, so she's not jumping to catch it). It seems durable enough although I don't leave it with her in a way that she could really try to chew it. I don't understand the reviewer that said you need to use two hands to throw it. Perhaps if you want to get it a particularly long distance two hands may help, but it seems fine to throw with one hand as it has a little bit of weight to it and I find it flies fine even if you throw it while it's vertical or upsidedown.

Durable and flexible
I bought this before. It’s a great frisbee — not as light or as far-flying as the black Kong Flyer, but it’s durable and easy for my border collie to catch. I lost the previous one. Just bear in mind that you’ll need to practise your throw at first — it takes a little getting used to. That said, it’s really good. It could be a bit cheaper, though, especially with so many competitors on the market now that fly farther.

Good keep away from water
Good frisbee dog didn’t manage to damage it, downside doesn’t float which I found out to my cost when I threw it badly and it went in the river.

Best dog toy!!
This is absolutely the best toy that I have for my golden retriever! He loves the frisbee.. it flies great in the air and he can catch it without having a hard service to bite. Also makes for a great chew toy and it’s extremely durable.
