The easiest an wisest way to connect a new head-unit
It's a perfect match for my 1989 Toyota MR-2. Flawless connection using DIN wiring standard colors. Simple with decent crimp quality. For those complaining the wires are not labelled, the BAG it comes in has each line identified clearly.

Perfect fit
Very reasonably priced and it made my wiring job very simple. Strongly recommend this item for any stereo install!

Better than the picture
My wire harness came with connectors on both ends not just the factory harness end. Like a dummy though, I thought they sent me the wrong part since it wasn’t the one shown in the photo with bare wires to connect to an aftermarket stereo, then realized the end I cut off had a connector that would connect directly to an aftermarket stereo. All I had to do was disconnect the one on my Alpine and plug this one in. It also has other connectors in parallel to add more amps and speakers if you want to expand your System later. It didn’t come with the pinout but if you are connecting it to a universal stereo with the built in connector you don’t need it. I bought mine from warehouse deals. I suspect someone returned it because it wasn’t bare wires on one end like the photo which may also be why the pinout wasn’t included.Mine was for a 2005 Scion xB. Works perfect. Scion for some reason uses two harness connectors instead of just one. Two speaker channels on one harness and two on the other.

Procuring all the parts before undertaking installation
Sometimes you open a radio bay and find out the factory made a midyear modification. It's a good idea to have all the installation aids you can. Being able to wire any which way you want is a lifesaver. Be prepared for the worst and hope for the best. It's nice when doing an install to be able to prep your needed wiring harness "on a workbench" and not while you are hanging upside down under a dashboard! I've spent a few hours laying backwards on a drivers or passenger seat with my feet dangling into the rear compartment. Staring up at the bottom of a dashboard while the brake pedal and accelerator grind into my ears! Too old for that excrement. I buy all the wire kits beforehand and that way I can solder and heat shrink in "comfort" and do a quality job. With room for all the schematics and needed tools to be right at hand! I may end up with spare harness parts, but I can do the install in one fell swoop and not wait for a needed part to be discovered on some dusty back shelf and shipped to me. It's nice to have a place to "bench test" the new head unit before plunking it into the dash. A couple of powered computer speakers can verify your unit is putting out to the RCA jacks a reasonable sound and not "cat howling. You will probably need 4 8 ohm test speakers to verify the high level output. A set of "alligator jumpers is nice to have for temporary test connections. It's a couple of extra bucks for doing a bench test, but it beats having to pull out a buggy new install. (And if it's your wife's car -- )

Won't work in my 2005 Toyota Tundra
I decided to replace my stock factory radio with a Pioneer with USB. I looked high and low for a wiring harness which would plug into the 2, stock Toyota mail plugs that feed the stock radio. This one seemed like a match so I ordered it. It might work for a pre-2005 Toyota but it won't work with mine. First, the physical size of the Scosche is smaller than the stock male plugs it is supposed to fit over. Second, even if the size of the plugs where correct the stock male plugs in my Toyota have pins, The Scosche has blades. If I had known it would not fit I would have just gone ahead and cut the radio wiring harness and made the connections. I called a car stereo installer. He looked up my truck and came up with the same Scosche wiring harness. In the end it's not the plug's problem, it's the manufacturers and the misinformation about the harness seems to be spread far and wide. If you are thinking of buying this harness, pull your radio and look carefully at the plugs that feed the radio. If your plugs have pins and not spades keep looking. You'll be wasting your time and money if you buy this one.

Útil y buen precio
Mejor precio qué la marca que me recomendaron originalmente. Funcionó perfecto para un corolla 2005. El código de colores coincide y los conectores ajustan bien.

Worked on my Subaru XV
Easy enough to install in my Subaru XV (2018). Only issue I had was getting the auto dimming to work.. Not sure if it was a wire thing or just a me thing...
