Southpole Boys' Active Basic Fleece Jogger Pants

These are great everyday sweatpants although they run large relative to the size chart provided by Amazon. I purchased these for my somewhat picky 11 year old son. He gave them a thumbs down based on the style and wouldn't even try them on. I kept them because the price was great and I knew there'd come a day when he just wanted some soft fuzzy warm pants. Sure enough he wore them last weekend and loved how they felt but they are quite large on him. For grins I slipped them on today and to my surprise they fit me just like my Gap joggers. I am in love with these for myself! The boys large looks like a slim fit ankle jogger on me. I'm 5'7", 140 pounds, apple shaped with a 30.5" waist and slim legs. He's 5.3", 105 pounds and normally wears a 12 slim. I'm going to get him a pair of medium and another pair of large for myself. Update: The mediums fit my son perfectly. Use the size noted on the product name, not the size chart provided by amazon.

Love these joggers but they do run large. Got them for my son when he was 9, for the winter and he usually wears a 10-12. I ordered the 10-12 and they bagged on his waist and had a few inches of bag at the ankles. Now is summer and he's 10 and they are fitting a little better so I think by winter they should work. My son is like 4'7 and 74 lbs now and they are slightly baggy on him still. The drawstring on the waist is for looks and not adjustable, fyi. But the quality is amazing! Will keep him warm in the winter and soft fleece material on the inside.

I've been on the hunt for sweatpants with a fitted bottom cuff (so I'm not tripping all over them) and wide top band in kind of a jogger(ISH) style. Damn near every time I've looked into women's joggers, I've been SO disappointed by how thin the material is!! I want them to be actual sweatpants, duh! I've seen plenty of thicker styles in mens' sections but they're often too long for my shortish legs. That and I don't want to spend a lot. I'm a 5'3" 125lb woman thick thighs/bum and these fit pretty well! They're not going to look like fashion sweatpants, but they've also not going to make me feel like a complete dump when I need to go grocery shopping, etc. And they're really cozy. Great for the price, would buy again. As I thought they would, they've pilled up a bit after a few months of washing, but I'm looking into getting a sweater shaver so that should be fun :)

My 9 year old typically wears size 10 or 10/12 without issue, so I ordered the Medium (10/12) in these and they are huge! Length is a little longer than I anticipated, but the waist is really big and there's no way he can keep them up even with tying the drawstring. I'm still giving them a 5 star because the quality feels great and he'll eventually grow into them.

True to size, good fit. The fabric is kinda heavy, will keep him warm on those cooler days. Easy care, machine wash and dry.

These are really great quality pants and at a good price. However they run really big. My son is 9 years old and about 70 lbs, which my research tells me is average. He’s not husky by any means but also not a string bean. Average is a good way to describe him. He’s inbetween sizes so 8 is too small in the waist but a 10 is too long. I ordered the medium and they were gigantic! Way too big in the waist and too long. I ordered a small and while they were a better length, they were still way too large in the waist. I’m going to keep them both anyway, just because the price is really good at the time of purchase (they were on sale) and I know they’ll fit eventually. However I won’t be purchasing this brand again.

THEY FIT

I bought these for my 14 year old grandson. They are wonderful. The fit is perfect and the material is very nice. They are not thin and shapeless and have held up well through washing. He liked the 1st pair so I bought 2 more. Price was great compared to the designer names. If he is happy, I am happy. Would definitely recommend.

Había comprado por primera vez un pants (color Heather Gray) y nos encantó porque el elástico se ajustó a la cintura de mi hijo. Mi hijo tiene 14 años pesa 43 kilos y es de complexión delgada mide 1.55 y le quedó muy bien de largo y en cintura se ajustó..por lo que pedimos dos más pero de color negro...Le dí una estrella porque el elástico NO SE AJUSTA a la cintura...y no le quedó....así que los usará su Papá ( le quedaron a la cintura un poco flojo ( viene muy grande de cintura). Están bonitos y al lavarlo se hace un poco de bolita ( eso que uso detergente de buena calidad y lo lavo aparte para conservarlo en buenas condiciones). Me decepcione mucho, seguiré buscando otras opciones.
