Kelkay RHS Horticultural Potting Grit Large Pack

I use this product for mixing with compost to improve drainage and for this purpose it is excellent. As a top dressing it is average as it appears to be getting smaller. I have also used this on it's own in pots to support stakes and this works well. I have also used it to fill holes and gaps around downpipes. Overall a good product but watch out for the price.

Good quality product. Ideal for structure and drainage in pots/containers/hanging baskets. I have also used it when repotting indoor plants. The grit is small which is ideal for my purposes but not sand like. Definitely recommend this

I don't usually have a complaint to make about any order, but I was a bit disappointed when the Grit bag was delivered to me wrapped up in a black plastic rubbish bag There was a slight loss in the grit bag but apart from that everything else was ok.

Contains lots of sand - I purchased this for gravel in a garden pond. Once installed I ran the pump for 24 hours and then had to backwash the filter just to get the water to clear. If purchased for this purpose then I recommend you wash it well beforehand

It is grit

Bought several of these when I had new pots and wanted to mix in with the potting compost, as well as a top dressing to keep weeds down and the plants from drying out. Looks good and easy to handle. Highly recommended.
