Decent map cover.
The media could not be loaded. Looks like it'll keep your map dry, easy to read through the plastic. Well priced too.

A decent quality holder for OS maps
I specifically wanted a map holder for OS maps - to use for map storage when I’m out and to protect and view the map when needed. I primarily use the maps for cycling so the holder will be in & out my pannier as required. I echo other reviewers - depending on how you orientate the map the holder can be too wide. You obviously need to fold the map until its displays what you need - a bit awkward but does work. The velcro for the viewing window is strong and no doubt will stay closed keeping the map safe - I’m not sure how dry but using it out in pouring rain is asking for trouble. The neck/shoulder strap is good and a decent length. The velcro fastener for closing the holder has two options - close it like a book (see my photos) or you can roll it up. For the money its good - if you use OS maps I would recommend getting one.

Very useful
Would recommend - yes it easily fits OS maps opened to a square. I doubt it would fold in half at that point but I used it for printed maps onto separate sheets of A4/A3. Velcro tab that holds it folded in half also useful for holding pocket open (we've all been there when velcro attaches itself when you don't want it to) and it can hold it in half the other way with the transparent sides to the outside. Velcro opening very simple to open/close - I'm sure my last one was hard work to fight your way into it, making your journey restricted to the one showing, but I accessed this one a lot in my recent use of it. Very useful that it folds in half so easily, detachable carrying strap and even the bag it came in has been useful. Only the one pocket - sometimes you might want a separate one for compass etc - but the simplicity of this one really works.

Good kit
Water resistant not waterproof so you’ll still need to keep an eye on water ingress. I’ve used it lots now in the hills. Very handy item and I’m pleased with it, especially when used with printed off paper maps from the OS App.

Map case
Highlander Water Resistant Map Case arrived quickly and is a good size for OS maps, or A-Z map 'booklets.I used it immediately on an 8 day trail walk. Unfortunatelt one of the strap ends came unstitched and required a te,porary repair of being knotted tight. That was disappointing, as this is not the cheapest mapcase on the market by any means, but has proven less durable than expected.I will resume my search for a trusted mapcase.

Great map cover
I bought this as it looked perfect for me. Its not a cheap one but it's good quality, waterproof and folds up. It comes with a good lanyard, not string that tries to strangle you in the wind

Pretty good but not perfect
I wanted this for protecting my map while walking in the rain in Scotland. It does this but pretty much only this. It's sized slightly wrongly to fit the UK OS map in that it is too big for a double page fold and too small for a triple page fold. If you're not too worried about keeping your maps in good order then that's okay, just fold to fit.Because of the lack of fit, I also didn't feel comfortable marking the clear plastic with a dry marker as I would want to do if orienteering for fear that the map would slip out of position.I'm not sure how robust it is but, for the price, three walking seasons would seem more than fair.I am happy to recommend it for casual walking and will continue to use it myself.

Great bit of kit.
This is a great map case... not been used in wet weather yet but we had our o/s map and an A5 sized walkers guide book in the case together for easy reference. Worked a treat. Able to fold in half to put In pouch of rucksack and comfortable to wear round the neck with the strap and refer to the map without having to remove from harness. Definitely a great buy .
