PREMIER SEEDS DIRECT - Lavender - Common English - 1000 Finest Seeds

Nearly 100% germination. Put seeds onto damp kitchen roll, sealed in plastic container, put that into fridge for 3 weeks (mimic stratification)... took container out & onto a warm windowsill where they germinated on the kitchen roll. From there, carefully, potted into small modules of compost. Have about 50 seedlings (for a hedge) growing strongly. Very happy! Update 2021: seedlings went on to produce strong plants that continue to produce SO many blooms... Cut flowers, dried for tea, lavender bags etc.

Everyone says growing lavender is really difficult and there are specific ways and times of year you must do it. Well, I just sprinkled these seeds into tiny pots filled with compost at the end of May, placed in front of a bright window and 7 days later I have loads of seedlings. I didn't cover them. I gave water every day. I did everything people say you can't do. These must be magic beans.

I grew these in my conservatory and once they were big enough to go outside I planted them in my fence pots. They are absolutely beautiful fragrance lavender. Just make sure you give them plenty of TLC and feed and grow them inside first until they are big enough and strong enough to cope with going outside.I’ve come on here to get some more but they are all sold out.

My seeds have sprouted in 4 days. I chilled them in the fridge for a week then planted them in soil mixed with warm water. Lavender is quite hard to germinate so once that process is out the way you’re good to go. Happy with my purchase!!

i bought these seeds a few months ago and most have them have sprouted. i did stratify the seeds first for three weeks in the fridge then germinated them in a container. I'm not sure if i would have had the same result if id just sown them directly into the ground. overall, a great purchase.. would recommend.

Amazing Seeds, I used up all the seeds, and they were sprouting before I knew it. They are amazing, I’m so pleased with how quickly they germinated, obviously right conditions and seed compost hadn’t used the greenhouse for sowing seeds for some years, too many years in fact & this has given me back such joy and excitement. So happy.

Seeds went to the fridge 21/08, sowed 24/09 and germination started 28/09.I did the whole package cause I'm aware of the low germination rate, but now, I don't know what to do with so many baby lavander!Really happy and hope they stay strong during winter, to be planted outside after the last frost.
