Q: Hi, could anyone tell me the dimensions of the base? I'm hoping it'll fit on a slim mantlepiece, so I need to be sure of the size.

i have just measured mine and it is just overjust over 3ins all the on all 4 sides and 3ins top to bottom .but they might vary a bit i measured pot from top as the base gets a bit small at bottom.hope this helps.maureen page

Definitely 33 cm or slightly less. However the orchid is well proportioned and looks real and beautiful.

Q: The picture looks like a purple flower. What is the actual colour please?

I would say very dark pink/rich but I wouldn't call it purple. In my review I've added a photo of mine in a black pot if it helps.
