Complete rip-off by Thornton's!!
Bought this product as a Christmas gift for my elderly neighbour. When it arrived the box was creased as if it has had weight on top of it. Don't yet know if the contents are squashed flat! When I say box I'm using the term very loosely. Packet is more of a correct description. I was expecting a continental style and size of box and was shocked at how small this actually is.I went on Thornton's website and found the same item for £7 , exactly half the price of this one....So c'mon Thorntons, let's hear a reply to see how you can possibly justify this. I'll wager nobody from the company ever reads these reviews. Hopefully this review will prevent any customer from purchasing this item at this price ever again. They cannot even justify it as a delivery charge because im a prime subscriber. A disgrace !

dissappointed cocophile.
Box is a hell of a lot smaller than I expected, and arrived with a corner bashed in, which is not ideal as I bought these as a Present, would not buy them again.

Bought November 2020 and expiry is November 2020!
Bought this 9th November and came to wrap it on the 12th December to gift it today and the flipping expiry date is November 2020! If these chocolates are white coated when opened they will be returned! That is totally not on selling old stock and thinking people won't be bothered sending it back because of the price. In this climate of online shopping forease because of covid. Its not a very nice thing to do is it?

Wow! Tastes fantastic 👍🏼 but wouldn't give as gift
Arrived next day, great 👍🏼but it arrived in a flimsy box and when I opened it the box was squashed (as seen in the photos I've attached) I thought to myself I should have listened to all the bad reviews, but, to my surprise when I opened the box the chocolates where fine. Not one chocolate was squashed. I would definitely not buy them as a gift as I could not trust they would make it to them in one piece but if they get the shipping right I would definitely get some for my family and friends. They where delicious 😋 though.

Am I one of the lucky ones?
Having read the disastrous reviews, I now feel must be one of the lucky ones.Mine cost £9 (less than others have paid) and post free due to Prime membership.Mine arrived on time, undamaged and in decent amazon cardboard folding packaging.Mine tasted nice and the gift recipient was happy with them. So, I probably wouldn't order them again in case I wasn't lucky next time, but as a one-off I was satisfied.

Thornton Coffee chocolates.
I loved these chocolates. I love coffee but for medical reasons I can't have caffeine. With these I get the taste but not the side effects. They were a Christmas present to myself so I shall have to wait until birthday or Christmas until I can have them again.

Overpriced
As I keep getting messages from Amazon/the seller to leave a review I will do so. Unfortunately these Thorntons Coffee Creams are way overpriced. I thought I was ordering what looked like a box of chocolates, but what I received was a rather small cardboard "pouch" of chocolates. For £9.99 I really would have expected more chocolates and/or better packaging. The taste is good, as would be expected from Thorntons, but the price isn't.

Lovely chocolates (when not squashed)
These are great chocolates, but are quite expensive on this site. My only disappointment was that each time I order them, they were squashed flat and stuck together, which meant I could not use them as a gift, and for personal consumption, I had to separate them all first.
