They are nicely weighted and have a soft grip which is made from a texture that is less likely to slip through your grip when you are doing the finer detail! The grip is very important as they feel very comfortable in the hand and inspire confidence in your control. It is a good selection covering a range of sizes suited to small to large canvases. The brushes hold and deliver paint to the canvas very nicely and they are made of good quality bristles for the money. The brushes did not lose any bristles on the peice I was painting - this can be very annoying! Good quality brushes should not do this so pleased with this set.
