The first adapter I ordered from Amazon unfortunately didn't support HDR10 / HDR10+... this one does the trick. It's high quality and feels well-built. Admittedly its a bit overkill for my setup -- 3rd gen iPad Pro & Samsung Q60 -- which are both limited to 4k at 60hz, But why future proof it?It's important to couple it with a high speed HDMI cable. I got the one at the bottom of this post, which does 4k at 144 hz, HDR10/ HDR10+, HDMI 2.1, etc. Overkill? Dal momento che i mac mini (Intel almeno) hanno avuto da semple problemi con la porta hdmi, mi serviva un adattatore da usbc ad hdmi che supportasse almeno 4k/60hz/HDR come da specifiche della mia TV sony, per poter vedere appunto i film alla massima qualità possibile. Cercando su amazon sembra ce ne siano tanti, a prezzi anche invitanti, ma poi prendendoli e provandoli si scopre che l'HDR non funziona quasi mai accoppiato al 4k e 60Hz. Dico quasi perchè dopo averne restituiti 3 di prezzo crescente (sono partito da circa 14 euro per arrivare a 27) sono arrivato a questo della belkin, dal costo di poco meno di 47 euro al momento della recensione (in sconto da 55), che semplicemente... funziona. Sull'adattatore in se c'è poco da dire: sicuramente è ben fatto, il pezzo di cavo è classico PVC senza infamia e senza lode ma fa il suo lavoro.Sicuramente un po troppo costoso per quello che offre, ma se la concorrenza non funziona, c'è poco da cercare alternative.

I have been using this for connecting my i7 MacBook Pro to a 27” 4K display and to a lecture projection system, so I can’t comment on the 8K performance yet.It has very good build quality. It is nice and compact, which is very convenient if you are giving presentations and you don’t want to be carrying around a full hub just for the HDMI output. The video output is good - I have experienced no issues at all as yet. It is expensive. If you don’t need the full resolution, it’s probably more cost effective to get a decent hub instead, but I guess it’s forward-looking to have an adapter that can provide that outlook - as long as it’s compatible with your computer.
