Peug Black & Chrome Wheel Valve Dust Caps

These caps have an internal rubber seal for a better fit. BUT they are not brass and may corrode on brass tyre valve stems so be prepared to grease the threads often (e.g. every time you check the tyre pressures) or prepare to do battle like I did. My caps were all coroded on to the tyre valve stems within 6 months (I check my tyres about every 2 months). I couldn't get all the caps off using a spanner and pliers. I used a metal hacksaw to cut the end and sides; a flat bladed screwdriver to prise the sides off the stem. Back to plastic caps now. Will never buy metal caps again. :(

DANGEROUS!!!!!!A seal inside one of the dust caps was missing causing a slow release of air from the tyre. My wife thought she had a puncture and called The AA. Luckily the AA engineer discovered what the problem was and advised that we remove all 4 of these dust caps from the wheels (AND BIN THEM AS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!!!)

I bought these for my Peugeot 3008 to replace the original oem version. They look very nice and although I’m not fanatical about monograms the Peugeot emblem sets them off well.

Look great and definitely VFM but feel a little lightweight imo. Thought they would be a little heavier and expected a metal material - these feela little plastic.

Bought these for new car rather than the black standard ones on it,sets the car off nice and they look great,well made and nice material

These look lovely on ny car wheels just hope they don't get nicked
