Tested and worked great
These worked great for me. I needed to secure a family members house that had a squatter. When they left, I installed these on the inside front door frame and placed a 2x4 across the span. That night the squatter tried to kick in the door and they failed to get in. One upgrade for the manufacturer is to add a hole to each bracket to secure the 2x4, this would be for doors that have a window pane.

Works as Adertised
Easy to install, good metal, no real negative issues. The screws could be a bit longer but im not to worried about it. Fits a 2x4 great, just a really simple way to add some additional security to a door. They dont look too bad for a door brace and are a good price for the functionality and apparent durability. I havnt had anyone try to kick in my door yet though so they remain untested.
